A bottle of sparkling water for 9€ is too overpriced. As we are talking about a high class hotel, I would suggest at least 1 bottle of mineral water complimentary per day at the beach

I liked the hotel. It was clean, the breakfasts were very tasty, the rooms were comfortable, the bathroom had good cosmetics. The hotel is in a great place where it is calm, there is a beautiful forest, a clean beach ... But I didn’t like the way the waiters and staff look at people, discuss their guests, who is wearing what, who eats how, it’s very annoying. The waiters do not leave the tables for a minute, this does not allow you to relax ...

there is nothing that we didn’t like!

*the location was perfect! the white sandy beach and the crystal blue sea along with the view of Athos mountains were idyllic! *the resort had everything! the facilities were all excellent! the bed was like sleeping on clouds! the decoration was very minimal and chic! all the people of the staff were always so smiling and helpful , they made you think you are at home! the lady at the spa had magic hands! *the cuisine was exquisite! all the dishes we tried were made with fresh ingredients, everything was handmade (ohh that praline!) , the combinations were very good! really there are no words to describe the experience we had at avaton! And not to forget the overall tranquility of our experience, which is exactly what we needed!

We liked almost everything. Only a few things to add to make this place truly exceptional. One would be the addition of a gym.

Can’t think of something really serious. If I must say something I would suggest to add some more plants between the rooms outside to make the pool area a little more private.

The size of the room and terrace is very small, the terrace is not isolated from the neighbourhood, there is no ice cube in the fridge. Compared to other hotels in the "Relais et Chateaux" chain, the room conditions are not so good for the very high price.

It is not really a complaint, but the rooms could use a better soundproofing insulation, as unfortunately you tend to hear your neighbours more than you would like.

Absolutely stunning place. And I truly mean it. Quiet and secluded, superb beach and the food was extraordinary! Believe me when I say that we always seek great restaurants on our travels....this one was astounding. I also need to mention the staff of Avaton, especially those working at the bar and restaurant. Extremely professional people, witty, charming and highly presentable. A special thanks to Stella and Yannis, two of the finest waiters you will ever encounter! The sunbeds are included in your package and there is no "fight" early in the morning for "who gets the best ones". The resort has a wide beach area with plenty of sunbeds for all guests (unlike most Greek resorts unfortunately). The water is crystal-clear, the cocktails (although quite pricey) are a must. You definitely have to try this resort!

Perfect getaway, great location, friendly and helpful staff. The property has it's own beach with everything you need. Spacious rooms with great views. Very good breakfast with a lot of options.
