Rafina îs a quiet small port during the time of our visit. It was pleasant to walk around the waterfront. There were plenty of restaurants. Hotel provided free shuttle to airport. Good breakfast.

Wish we stayed longer!

Great location right by the port! Easy check-in and check-out made for the perfect stay before catching the ferry early in the morning. Room had everything we could have wanted, even a lovely view back to the town. Best shower water pressure! The shuttle from the airport was great too - easy to find and quick ride!

I could not have asked for anything more.

Very comfortable hotel right on the harbour with a balcony and a great view of the ferries coming and going. It was mesmerizing. A great day of winding down at the end of a busy trip, with a very good breakfast buffet that opened ant 6am and a free shuttle to the airport the next morning. (Be sure to pay the extra for the harbour view!)

The shower had a interesting design without a boundary to contain the water. We arrived approximately 12;30 and had to pay a fee for early access to the room.

The hotel is very attractive and in a great location. I enjoyed not being in a tourist area near the water. Our room has a terrace and view of the water. Good breakfast and appreciated having the shuttle to the airport.

There was not one single thing we didn’t like, other than the fact we only stayed one night. :(

The location, the nearby ferry landing, nearby restaurants, the view from our room, the restaurant/bar and patio, and the breakfast. Oh! AND the airport shuttle! This was the PERFECT stay for our last night in Greece before flying home. If only we knew how nice it was when we booked, we would have stayed another night or two!

Internet connection didn’t work. Room was quite loud due to wind noise-better door seals on the balcony door would make for a better sleeping experience.

Perfect location if you plan on taking the ferry from Rafina port—less than a ten minute walk. Great breakfast selection and really good restaurant for dinner. Friendly staff. Wonderful view over the sea from our room with a generous balcony.

Room size was a little claustrophobic -- but not to the point we wouldn't stay there again. In fact, we would absolutely stay at this hotel if we find ourselves in Rafina again.

Shuttle from the airport to the hotel was a huge plus. Proximity to the Rafina ferry port was excellent. The room was small, but very comfortable. The beds in particular had among the softest, most comfortable mattresses on any place we stayed. The breakfast buffet was spectacular with a huge number of options to choose from (one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Greece). Within an easy walk of the hotel are lots of options to eat -- and do so at a reasonable price.

The staff is correct but not very friendly.

Hotel Avra is close to the Port of Rafina. Handy when you have to catch a ferry to the islands. They organise a shuttle from an to the airport.

Ideal place to stay in advance of a ferry to the islands. Hotel shuttle from the airport was great. Comfy room and the restaurant was lovely.

An international junior sports club were staying. They boys were loud and hanging off their balconies shouting and swearing at people outside and roaming around the foyer in large groups...it was unpleasant and went on for hours. The staff were informed and were apologetic but the poor behaviour did not stop. At breakfast the boys devoured trays of breakfast food like locusts. The staff arranged to bring some food items to my room which I had patiently waited for over 30 minutes. The reception staff said they would not rebook another junior sports club in the future. With this in mind I will stay again next year.

The staff, location, room (with sea view and balcony), good variety of dining choices close by, complementary airport shuttle (not used but will next time) and the variety of quality food for the buffet breakfast.

There was confusion about pick up from the airport. We waited for over an hour for the hotel bus. We called but there was still confusion and then finally, the driver came. We did as we had been instructed in advance, waited in the parking lot adjacent to the airport. It was also frustrating as there was implication when we called that perhaps we were not in the right place for the driver to see us. That is not the case. I was keeping a close eye on vehicles coming and going. Perhaps just make sure you have the number of the property and call once you are in the lot. But we did have an appt for pick up.

The property is convenient to the port for catching a ferry the next day. The breakfast was outstanding, wonderfully prepared and so much food and variety. Above and beyond any expectations. Outstanding.

The only downside was a group of other hotel guests who were noisy hanging out in the corridors … sound travels and woke us up. Understand the hotel isn’t responsible for this

It was very easy to organise and find the airport shuttle bus, which arrived and left on time. The staff were lovely and the hotel room, facilities and the location were excellent

Right across Galata bridge. You are 5 minutes walk from all the sites. Draw the curtains open and you see Hagya Sophia. The rooms are bramd new, thoughtfully fitted out The breakfast has a huge variety. Can't believe it's only 7 euro.
