How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Large room spotlessly clean, exceptional staff. Arrived early Reception offered drink and speeded up check-in. Safe and easy access to hotel at night, 15 min walk into centre via residential area. Very good breakfast, staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

One thing to improve is the cleaning of the pool.
Very nice hotel. The rooms were very clean. The service was the best I got in any Greek hotel, and I have to say thank you to Pablos, who helped us a lot and gave us amazing recommendations who proved themselves to be amazing attraction. The breakfast was good and diverse.

I liked how friendly and helpful was everyone working in the hotel and how clean were the premises. Also, I really enjoyed the location of the hotel, ideal for relaxing! Excellent breakfast!

The hotel is located on a very busy road. It is impossible to sit outside on the balcony of the room. Too much noise. There is a triple window, so with everything closed at night it keeps the noice outside enough to sleep.
Very friendly staff. Especially Pavlos who helped us to arrange an emergency appointment with a dentist. Nice, modern rooms.

Nice staff, breakfast, decoration, confort and location (we had a car and there was always parking places). It was late March and the pool was closed, but the staff opened it at our request, which was very nice for our daughter.

Was beside a busy road. Was totally shocked by the traffic when arriving. But did not disturb at all. They have double doors on the rooms and the noise did not disturb at all. Actually exceeded our expectations. Breakfeast was superb also the staff.

Only thing that comes to mind was a minor glitch with a door opener not working due to a tripped circuit breaker, was quickly resolved.
The hotel has a new feel about it and seems family run. Everyone working there deeply cares for making it a great experience. The food served at breakfast features several home made Greek delicacies which we enjoyed very much.

I cannot say that i didnt like something the only thing that i didnt like is that you have not chance to choose two twin beds

The breakfast was little poor.
The room was nice with the beautiful view to the Palamidi castle. But also was a little noise as we heard some noise from the neighbors.

Can't think of any negatives except that we had to leave!
Lovely boutique hotel a little way out of the old town. Quiet street at the back with plenty of free parking. We had a double room with a balcony looking towards Palamidi Fortress, nice view at sunset. The room had a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, a safe and a coffee machine. Bathroom was a good size and everything worked well. Hanging rack on balcony to dry towels, clothes. Large clean pool which was covered every night and cleaned every day during our stay, plenty of sun lounges and a poolside bar. Amazing breakfast spread with eggs cooked to your liking, espresso/cappuccino. Special thanks to the lovely Evie for her amazing delicious homemade cakes and sweets. The best staff who greeted us with a smile, a wave and helpful advice when we went in or out. Probably a 20-25min walk to the start of the old town/harbour area. An easy flat walk though so not a struggle. Wonderful bakery (Kosmos Bakery) almost directly across the main street with great pastries, desserts, juices etc. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Busy street with Gas station directly in front. Not an issue with a room on the pool side of the hotel (no balcony).
Clean and spacious rooms, big shower. Wonderful staff (shout out to Penney who was extremely helpful). Great location for parking and walking to town.

Very clean modern hotel. Room was very comfortable with all amenities. Pool on premises was an added bonus during our stay. Breakfast offering had a good selection of food available. Staff were really helpful during our stay.
