This accomodation exceeded our expectations in every way. CLEANLINESS I have had worse service in some hotels....the landlady came to clean every single day and every 3 days we had new towels and change of bedding ROOMS new, very nice and well equipped, there were even electric mosquito repellents in every room with new refills CUSTOMER SERVICE absolutely fantastic...... There were beach towels, toys, sun umbrellas or snorkeling equipment for loan...for free of course. We had some unexpected rain (3 days which is shocking for the location) and the landlords even organized barbeque for all and it was very tasty The landlords were both incredibly nice and forthcoming and we enjoyed ourselves very much WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE :)

We were only staying for one night as we were there for a wedding. This sounds trivial but a full Toilet roll have been appreciated. Otherwise no faults with accommodation.

Lovely apartment that was great value for money. Decor was really nice and bed very comfortable. Owners very friendly and welcoming. We arrived 2 hours before 2pm check in and owners were more than happy to let us have the room straight away as it was ready. The longer than usual, 11am check out the next morning was really helpful too.

It was great relaxing 4 nights at Avyssis property. The owners are very kind people, they will try to help to feel good there. They have a lot of stuff which you can use on the beach like water matras and umbrellas. The location is also good for a walk to main street and the the beach too. Thank you once again for everything.

Thin walls. This was not such a big problem. It depends what type of people are staying in the other rooms. For example, we ocasionally heard from upstairs people closing and opening doors from the furniture very loud. Or a neighbor that was listening to the tv at a verry high volume.( it was ok because it closed the tv at around 11 pm) If I had to chose again Kalamaki for a vacation I would chose this place again for sure.

Close to Kalamaki Beach, by foot we did about 10 minutes maximum. The property is close to the main road from Kalamaki where you have all the restaurants and shops. I liked the fact that the property is not on the main road, because there is noise from all the places, here, you are kind of isolated from that after you close your windows. The owner was very nice, one day they also give us a bottle of their home made wine. And that was very nice.

No complaints.

The location was great, so close to the sea, Kalamaki town and Zante. The room was very spacious with modern furniture (big and comfortable bed) and new appliances. Our room had a decent size balcony with a lovely view to the sea and the town. The room and the whole premises were both very clean and tidy. The owners were extremely friendly and warm and made us feel so welcome and looked after. We hope to visit Avyssos again in the future.

The only thing to mention is that the frosted glass entrance door on the ground floor lets in light from the outside, so the room isn't completely dark (but in the end it didn't bother us much)

A great and quiet place a little off the main busy road, yet close enough to the beach and anything else you need. The owners were great and treated us to some homegrown vegetables even. Thanks!

I would prefer to stay in second floor but we booked in last minute. We didn’t understand why there are stairs in the bathroom.

The room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning was working perfectly! We had everything we need. We stayed 3 nights and our room was cleaned everyday and towels/sheets were changed once. Hotel is very close to Kalamaki beach and Kalamaki town. Owners were really friendly.

They’re ready to accommodate you, they really go out of their way!! Also beautiful rooms, very peaceful ,close to the beach and reasonable prices. 10/10 for us!!

Bathroom had strange smell and i think water to, also pressure would fluctuate alot and it was difficult to adjust it.

The room was decent sized and everything seems new, but the bed is right where the air conditioning blows so i could not use it because it was chilling me to much. Wifi was verry good! Air conditioner was like new verry clean !

The kitchen was poorly equipped, we didn't even have a microwave, and the third bed was more like an extra bed, which was really uncomfortable and when we wanted to roll over to the other side it almost fell over.

We had an amazing stay at Avyssos. Maki was the kindest, sweetest and most helpful man I’ve met on my trip. He treated us so well and gave us the best service and hospitality. The room was beautiful and clean. The beach is close by and so were restaurants. Maki helped us find a car for our trip. We loved our stay here so much, would come back again!

The host and hostess were amazing helpful and kind. We were picked up at the airport.The location was excellent near shops and the beach. Although there was not a swimming pool, there was a Pool bar near and we were able to use it just had to buy a drink there.

Smaller bathroom than anticipated

Avyssos saved our holiday! Accidentally booked 9 nights instead of 10, Avyssos was available last minute. Room was lovely, bijou for three of us but no complaints. The people who welcomed us were lovely, polite and very friendly. Thank you very much!

Perfect location. You have everything that you need near of hotel ( hospital,market,restaurants,bars, beach). 5 minutes far from city center and beach. The owners were so welcoming people and they helped us for everything. The room was clean and spacious. For your next vacations we totally suggest this place .

Nothing. Felt like home.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Avyssos; the owners/staff were incredibly welcoming, and the amenities were great. Everything was new and sparkingly clean. The location was really convenient to access the beach and other nearby attractions. Will definitely visit again!
