Nothing really. the location seems unsafe but It really not.

Everything was great. They were very friendly. I felt like I was staying at my friend's house. the bathrooms were always clean. they offer some free milk, cereal, fruit and coffees.

The garden is huge, filled with plants, truly amazing. Bar has great drinks at fair prices. Everything is sparklingly clean. Rooms have high ceilings and big windows, beds are comfy with blackout curtains that cover 100% of the exposed bed area. The staff is exceptional and beyond expectations, they're the ones that make this a must stay. Will definitely visit again.

Baloo is a beautiful hostel and a magical place! it is ideal for visiting Athens, being in a central position, and it is also a suitable place to meet new people, as it has a garden - Bar, and a very large shared kitchen! the structure is very welcoming and clean and the staff (Tomas, Dimitra, Alexandra, Evans) are the added value of this structure! I'll be back for sure!

The area is a little sketchy, made me a little uncomfortable walking around alone, and its about a 17 min walk to the centre

The staff were lovely and accomodating! The common areas were comfortable and well equip! The rooms were clean, enough space, had lockers, and privacy curtains!

I did not use the kitchen although it looked great. Maybe I would have used more if I was better informed about what is available/ included.

The staff was fantastically friendly helpful and attentive. I liked the building architecture and interior decor. The interior court bar and lounge was a really fantastic gathering place and to receive guests as well.

I had a fantastic stay here, I met such a lovely group of other solo travellers of different ages and it is easy to get to the old town by walking. The hostel was modern and beautifully presented, it's not too big and it had an outside bar at night so it was easy to make friends. Massive thank you to Tom and Alex working there, it was nice to meet you! I had my birthday there and they went above and beyond to make it an extra special day for me with a balloon explosion on my bunk and a bottle of prosecco to share with my new friends at night. If I find myself in Athens again I will be sure to head back to Baloo Hostel.

The property was a little bit of a walk from the train station.

Its a beautiful boutique hostel with personality, away from standard 'cold' chain hostels. Each corner was decorated and designed with love, and it's nice to hear about the birth of this hostel by his owners. Incredible variety of tea for breakfast:) (coffee also available). The patio and the bar outside: an excellent meeting point to socialize with other guests. Big rooms, comfy beds with curtains for privacy and storage space under the bed for luggage and clean Bathrooms. Location near the metro station Omonia.

The location is in a very high crime area there are a lot of homeless people, drug addicts. It was very noisy all the time. I limited my activities to day time. I had booked to stay again later but have changed my stay somewhere else in Athens. Great hostel poor location.

It was clean, tidy with good facilities, Staff were excellent, good shower and toilets comfortable bed.

Fantastic old building which has kept its character but offers modern comfortable accommodation with excellent bathrooms and great outside bar and garden area- Great wall paintings by hosts dad!! city centre location just 30 mins walk from acropolis. Host Tomas welcoming friendly and very helpful especially as I arrived with a broken foot after a motorcycle accident!! Very good value for money👍

strong recommend you stay here for your trip in Athens hostel manager is really kind and friendly ! room is really clean ! provide free coffee and tea, amazing kitchen with well organized! heat and air conditioner in room , shower room is very clean water is warm and strong quiet place and barely hear noise after you close the room door ! if you want to travel by train to Meteora, 10 mins walking distance to train station if you want to walk to town, 5 mins walk to metro what else i can say~ really really great experience to stay here!

It was super clean and well stocked. Very modern but felt like a home at the same time. All the guests were lovely and I’d go back again.

There were no blankets, only bedlinen, so it was a bit cold in the night. The neighborhood is definitely dodgy so just have to watch out when walking around. But everything feels super safe in the hostel itself.

Beautiful and comfortable hostel to stay in. So new and modern, a little gem in the city. Bathroom and showers were very clean which is very unusual for a hostel. And the bar looked very stylish !!! Well done with making the stay pleasant.

Walked from Omonia station at night and felt quite unsafe. It was ok in the early morning, about a ten minute walk to the main railway station. The beds are clean but wish there was a bit more in the spacious room - more hooks, or some hangers?

The toilet was clean (there were only two people in our four bedder) but the whole shower area will get wet when you take a shower! The kitchen and dining area was well stocked and cosy. The air con was very strong and powerful (was actually a bit too cold!).
