Very clean, hospitable, great value for money and location

The one downside of this apartment is the wifi. The internet is so slow and often just stops working, so consider it if it is something important to you..

The apartment is exactly like the photos, has a great location, and offers parking space if you plan on renting a car. Our host was the sweetest lady; she helped us with whatever we needed and made sure all of her guests were comfortable. The beds are decently comfortable, and we had no problem with them. A big plus of this studio is the two perfect balconies – one for breakfast and one for evening lounging

Maybe a bigger bed would have been nice.

I highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to Corfu!!! The combination of its cleanliness, cozy arrangement, and amazing host truly made our stay exceptional. On top of this, the apartment is situated just a few meters from the sea and it's close to the shops/bars/restaurants. When I get back to Corfu, I will definitely stay here again!

Stayed in September 2022. Two storey accommodation with kitchen/dining area and wc/shower room on ground floor, and bedroom upstairs. Friendly host, helpful and available without being obtrusive. Complimentary tea and coffee on arrival plus some shampoo and shower gels. Excellent location close to bars/restaurant and only a 10 minute walk to beach.

An extra key would have been nice.

Apartment was super clean and in a central location. We had fresh towels every other day. Host was very friendly and welcoming - I asked for extra pillows for the bed and the host turned up within 10 minutes. Thank you!

The beds were a little hard and the stairs a little steep. But not too concerning as have booked up again for September.

The host met us at the property although it was past midnight.

Very thin walls, heard our neighbors pretty clearly and also the mattress was pretty hard.

First of all, the owner was really nice, clean and cosy apartment. It was cleaned every other day which was excellent.

The wifi wasnt always available and the stairs were quite steep going up to the bedroom. We soon got used to them but they could be an issue if you have mobility issues

The location of the apartment is ideal as its close to the shops, bars, restaurants and the beach, but far enough away to be lovely and quiet. Basic necessities were supplied and our bedding and towels were replaced every other day. We were welcomed by our lovely hosts with a cold mythos! They were so friendly and helpful and me and my husband will definitely be returning!

We were staying in Barax for two weeks and were extremely satisfied with the room. Joanna is very dedicated, kind and helpful person. The room itself was always clean (cleaned frequently) and there was everything we needed (including the safe, fridge, cutlery etc.). The bed was big and comfortable. Besides, there is charming view on the garden and even part of the sea (!) from one of the front apartments. Very quiet place for calm guests located out of the main street, but very close to restaurants and Issos Beach at the same time. We felt very welcome. Staying in Barax was our best choice.

We loved staying at the apartment! It was super close to a wonderful sandy beach, the supermarket and a variety of really delicious restaurants to choose from. We would definitely stay there again!

Kitchen and bathroom downstairs ,balcony upstairs ,have to bring everything up and down all time .stairs very steep ,some people may have problems .

Excellent owner ,place lovely and clean and well kept .
