Would have been nice to have some water in the fridge on arrival but all in all, this was a great stay.

Nice room, good size with private bathroom. Host was very welcoming despite our flight coming in very late at night. Shop was just down the road and beach literally a 1 minute was away.

Perhaps a bit basic for some tastes, though not really mine.Hard mattress perhaps. Brief overnight stay by nuns who were very noisy early in the morning!

Very convenient for getting around the island, with very good bus services. Plenty of good restaurants . Excellent staff, lovely garden, handy location, good standards in all respects. I was returning to an old haunt, so I must like it!

The wifi in our room was barely available (not talking about the speed of the internet, but about basic ability to even connect to the internet, so having no internet at all). Also, if it is an option, don’t book a room on the top floor; as another reviewer said - the rooms on the top floor seem to be part of an enlarged capacity of the hotel, and it shows (ex, you won’t be getting the lovely mediterranean shutters for your balcony, but plain pvc blinds; no regular room door but one made from sth like pvc blinds). Shower quite small.

Kostas is the hidden gem of Corfu; he was extremely helpful, always around, always smiling and very friendly! He helped us with our luggage (we had a lot of bags and it was 35+ degrees outside. The best support! There was free parking next to the hotel. Great location! The common areas and front yard are quite cozy.

The helpfulness from staff personall and although it seemed a bit hard to get parking spots, actually we managed to always get one without much searching.

The room was very warm, however the air conditioning was working perfectly. Electricity works just if you’re in the room so you need to cool down the room while you’re in.

Perfect location, just 2 minutes walking to the beach. The staff was super friendly and ready to help for anything we needed (for example they arranged a taxi to go to the airport, they waited for us for a late check in as our flight was delayed, they explained us the organisation of the bus to Corfu town and more). We had a very spacious room for 3: one single bed and one double bed, minimal but equipped with all you need during your holidays. Nice sea view from our big terrace. Nearby: Bars, restaurants, bus stop, car rentals, markets.

The beds are a bit tired and the pillows are quite hard.

Konstantinos was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is small and is located close to the main road in Benitses so easy walking to the beach or restaurants there, but still protected from the noise of the street. The room is small but comfortable and it has a balcony, big enough to relax and hang bathing clothes and towels. Benitses is strategically located to move around in the island, and this hotel is convenient and a good deal in the area.

No pool - although we knew this booking so wasn't an issue for us. There are pool bars in Benitses a 5 min walk away which happily allow you to use the pool if you buy drinks/lunch etc.

The Arches Hotel staff were fantastic and really looked after us during our stay, they couldn't have done anymore. The hotel was clean, quiet and in a great spot (30m from the beautiful sea front) for exploring Benitses which itself is a fantastic small, friendly beach resort. The rooms were clean and simple (we had the Seaview and whilst it wasn't totally uninterrupted, we had a stunning view each morning when opening the curtains). If you're looking for a simple, well run typically Greek style small hotel in a quiet, family friendly resort then the Arches is a good bet.

As simple as the hotel is, our room was very clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We once had trouble with hot water, after letting them know a handy man was there to fix it about 2 minutes later. The hosts were very nice and friendly giving us clear instructions and also giving recommendations about local restaurants, public transport etc. We were very satisfied during our whole stay.
