The service was unnecessarily perfect for us. We stayed only 3 days and changing the towels even the day before departure was unnecessary for us... a bit against our ecological sensibilities. But honestly - that was only our mistake, next time we will try to communicate better with the host in the sense that we don't need this... :) The price is really not low, but we made ourselves happy and did not regret it at all.

Best place in the village! absolute peace and a balcony with sunbeds in the apt. Ocean is really famous - not only with regard to absolute privacy with a wonderful view, but also great for observing the starry sky at night. If I were the owner, this apt. I wouldn't even rent - I'd like to live there myself!

Excellent location on the edge of the village overlooking the sea. Lovely garden inhabited by numerous friendly cats. Makes a very good base for exploring the surrounding area on foot, with great walks along the coast and through the olive groves.

We had the Sun studio on 4th (top) floor, with sea view and it was worth it. Very bright and pleasant, great views. Very nice owner and cleaning lady. Steep way to get there! But easy access to the very charming village of Myrthos. Definetly worth the stay

The beach bar that was about 200 m away played very loud music during the whole day and also on Sunday until late night. But that was basically the only thing that we didn’t like.

The View was spectacular. Not having to use the aircon, as there always was a slight wind. Everyone was really nice! We appreciated the owners ecological way of running the place.

Sitting out area for the Earth garden studio is effectively in the outdoor reception area. There is a shady terrace with reserved seating, but again, this is not private

Not so much didn’t like, but the water temperature varies. Best time for really hot water was in afternoon. And of course you have to be able to do steps!

We stayed in the largest of the top floor rooms - small but with a decent little kitchenette. It’s well planned and manageable (eg little lift up table), plenty of hooks, clothes line and pegs on rear terrace).The view and the front terrace made any inconvenience worthwhile and we loved it - have never had such a splendid view of the sea in all our travels Pavlos is a really good host - present and helpful Owners wine and cookies were a nice touch

Cigarette smoke came up into room from below, and there was some noise in staircase late at night. Not bad though- we enjoyed our stay.

Location was great. Liked fresh air in room from the big window. Great location for restaurants in the hills and also visit to Tertsa Beach.

We were shown the larger studios which were beautiful and very spacious. The room we had chose was small, but we learned to live in the small space. Will opt for larger apartment next time.

The view from the balcony was exceptional. The room was spotless and cleaned every day by a lovely lady. Well equipped.Very calming place to stay.

Our room was on 4th floor so the way up/down from the room to the sea was quite hard under the sun. However due to the height of the room we had an amazing view.

Super hospitality during our stay in big blue enjoying the great sea view. The building is just in front of the sea and has all the necessary facilities. The owner was super reactive when we had a problem with the WiFi and he managed to find a solution ASAP.

Our room was a little tired inside and the bathroom was a bit of a weird layout, kept bumping our heads on the ceiling when you get up from the toilet! Our room was also right next to the reception and communal area where everyone was checking in, so not great privacy, but we booked so late, so can't expect to have the best room!

The hotel itself is split over a few floors, but is beautiful, all white and blue, our Suite was right by the garden which was beautiful and there was a bench reserved for us that was overlooking out to the sea. The staff were lovely, host was very informative and new so much about the area - even saying that his relation build the first house in the village. The Beach was a short downhill step walk, there were plenty of cafes and taverns too within walking distance which was very convenient. Also onsite parking was a big plus for us as we had a hire car. YOU MUST VISIT the local Taverna called Platanos Restaurant and Bar, best meal we had in Crete and probably the cheapest!
