How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lift only really big enough for one person.
Hotel is in very convenient location but far enough from main road to be quiet. Beautifully decorated breakfast room.

Hotel was unable to provide single beds however sofa bed made up in room and was comfortable could of done with two chairs on balcony Breakfast would of been better as a self service buffet instead of pre ordering as you entered dining room without viewing the food 😉 would of saved time for staff and customers choosing our own breakfast
Friendly staff quirky decorations comfortable room Reception was very helpful getting us a taxi to airport as May day parades closed the roads as no buses were available

The room has neither wardrobe nor drawers, so it's not easy to put clothes and have a tidy room
The staff is very polite and helpful. At breakfast guests have a great variety of choice, both savoury and sweet

Area round the shower and washbasin is small: could do with an extra shelf for toiletries and hook for a towel. It wasn't too bad for me but could be tight for a couple
Room was a good size, staff very pleasant and helpful. There were good choices at breakfast - excellent coffee, They booked a taxi from and to the airport and all worked efficiently. It's a good location, easy to find your way around the city from the hotel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained.

I'm a light sleeper when travelling. Unfortunately, the doors of rooms can only be closed with a bang, waking you up if other guests arrive late at night or leave early in the morning. Otherwise, I had no complaints.
The location was perfect—close to the beach and main attractions while not on a very noisy street. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. I loved that they offered local food on the breakfast menu. It's one of those hotels I would be happy to recommend to my friends visiting the city.

Great place! Great service! We had a wonderful time there, the location is perfect and close to everything we needed. The room was clean and very comfortable for our stay! The breakfast room was pleasant and comfortable with all you need, great friendly staff in the kitchen and reception! Definitely recommend!

Not the hotel’s fault, I had a few noisy neighbours :)
Great location, close to public transport as well, super friendly and helpful staff, functional room. The breakfast was also great! Overall a great value for your money.

We didn't mention this before we left but on hindsight should have done , the AC wasn't working to properly cool the room but easily fixed.
Great location , quite quirky decor in public spaces but very tasteful and lovely . Had a big corner room on the First Floor with a lovely shower and seating area . Breakfast was amazing as well and with very generous portions! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and sorting Taxi's ! Would highly recommend!

The staff was so polite and the room was excellent, space and clean wise. Breakfast was quite uncomfortable the way it was served (not self service) but everything got me another pleasant stay in Thessaloniki.

The bathroom is not convenient in the triple room as the washbasin is inside the room.
We really enjoyed our stay thanks to the amazing staff of Blue Bottle Boutique Hotel. They are so kind, helpful and positive. The breakfast was very delicious and the location of the hotel was also good.

Breakfast was amazing. Orders were taken, freshly cooked and served to you. Great variety of food, freshly squeezed orange juice. The kitchen and front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The pressure of the shower was really good. Very comfortable. Very central location, close to everything, markets, retail, eateries and a short walk to the waterfront. Highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast items were all simple carb-heavy. I would have preferred more health-conscious items such as fresh fruit salad, whole wheat bread, and cream cheese spreads (rather than jam and honey).
The hotel is very conveniently located in central Thessaloniki so that everything can be reached by foot. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel (breakfast lounge) and rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is freshly prepared according to guests' choice rather than a buffet.

Very friendly staff, the hotel's location is very central but the rooms are quiet. The breakfast was rich, the bed was comfortable, everything was really clean, and overall one feels good staying in this type of modern hotels.
