We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe stairs. The pool ladder also, for people with disabilities or age it is hard getting in and out of. I really struggled. The restaurant would be better if they could serve some simple food in fish and chips.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast you couldn't ask for more. The dinner at night, a bit expensive but lovely. The views were incredible.

EstoniaWe took a room with pool but sadly did not enjoy that since the water was so cold and it was located so that the sun does not shine to our terrace throughout the day. Some dishes and bottle opener would have been nice..
So far, one of the cleanest hotels I`ve seen! The rooms were always cleaned extremely thoroughly, it was beyond expectations! Location is on top of the hill, very nice views, specialy from the bool! Cocktails we tried were worth the price, the bar menu was surprisingly rich. Not too many people in September, we enjoyed the private gym. The beach and tavernas are near.

We stayed for our honeymoon for a week and it was perfect. Everything about the hotel is amazing. Our room was a very good size and was always very clean. We had a private pool and was nice and private with a great view of the ocean. The breakfast was great. It had plenty of options to cater for most needs. Every staff member at the hotel was very friendly and professional and always seemed happy and helped us with anything we needed. We ate at the hotel restaurant during our week there and I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying. The quality of the food was exceptional and well worth the money.

United KingdomThe hotel is up a steep hill but as other reviews say it’s worth it for the stunning view! However, it may be harder for those with limited mobility to get up and down.
A gorgeous, modern hotel. It’s nice to see that they have taken on feedback, e.g., water bottles in the room, kettles. All the staff were so so friendly and welcoming. They catered to my coeliac needs so well, providing gluten free bread, spaghetti and even bringing the chef to explain adjustments to my dinner. Would 100% recommend!!

A perfect hotel for calm and zen attitude. We are far from the crowded touristic hotels but with all the comfort and renovated rooms. Most rooms have private pool which make the experience a step further. The breakfast is very good with some special cakes every days on top of the casual English/European breakfast. There is no buffet at night and the à la carte menu can be pricey but definitely meet high standards and quality with a top chef.

United KingdomLoved everything, my only suggestion if I had to give one, it would be that maybe it would be nice if and when the staff in the restaurant and bar are quiet they go could go around to those by the pool and ask if they would like any more drinks or food rather than guests having to go to them. :)
The Blue Elephant is fantastic value for money, the staff go above and beyond and make you feel very welcome, they provided great recommendations for day activities and things to do in the local area and Crete. The entire hotel is in immaculate condition and very clean. Loved enjoying our coffee from the restaurant's balcony every morning and many cocktails by the pool. I would definitely recommend

FranceWe really don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel but if we have to look for a negative point it would be the fact that he swimming pool has to close everyday at 6pm :-/
It was extremely neat and clean. We loved everything about it! The staff was super friendly, very attentive and always willing to help us out. We went there for our honeymoon, they offered us a complimentary wine bottle and the accepted to help me plan a surprise with rose petals before our arrival. The room was cleaned everyday (new towels, new sleepers, water bottles…). And the restaurant was delicious.

Very clean spacious rooms, lovely views. The staff were great, very attentive. Great location down to the beach about 5 min walk away. The hotel is located on a hill so sometimes the walk back up makes your leg muscles work but worth it as the hotel is quiet. Excellent instructions on how to check in as we arrived after midnight. I also had a massage during our stay which was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

United KingdomIt would be better if the pool opened earlier, 10am is quite late if you get up at 7am like we do, and especially in July heat. The walk up the hill and the 52 steps is a bit of a problem, we are fit and healthy but we are also 62 years old (!) accessibility in these times shouldn't be overlooked, for a new hotel the owners should be making accessibility a priority. We saw it was an adults only hotel but only for some people as there were some children there during our stay - we didn't mind the children being there but we would have liked to have brought our granddaughter to use the pool with us sometimes. It feels a bit unfair to let some people stay with children and not others.
Loved the views and the facilities, the staff were wonderful and it felt like a really luxurious stay. Breakfast was included and wonderful, the pool was beautiful, the bathroom was beautiful, even walking into reception was breathtaking!

The people who work at the Blue Elephant are exceptional. Special praise for Claudio, Vagellis in the Pool Bar and Breakfast restaurant The restaurant upstairs is very good and once again Niki and Annie looked after us superbly. the meal we had was exceptional. The Lime Illusion is one of the best desserts i have ever experienced anywhere in the world

United Kingdomwe were given the room directly opposite & very close to the restaurant seating area. our balcony & window was in full view of dining guests. this completely ruins your privacy as a couple in the evening right up until we went to sleep. we had to draw the curtains which is a shame and prevented us from looking at the view / sitting on the balcony or walking about the room / lying on the bed relaxing with curtains open. they only give you two tiny milks with the tea and coffee which only enables you to have two hot drinks- very skrimpy for the price you pay and strange how they give you so many sachets of coffee and tea without enough milk. the floor of the room is not hoovered properly when room service attends. the gym is not as good as we thought it would be - the photos make it look better -very limited equipment - the Dumbells only go up to 22kg. the pool is only open till 6pm
