How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

what we really didn't like about this hotel was that the balconies were not very clean, the view from out hotel room was really bad and it seemed as if they didn't really care to fix them up. The breakfast in bed was a nice touch, but the breakfast itself was lacking: four slices of bread, two slices of tsoureki, spanakopita kai cheese pie, some biscuits, cake, two fried eggs, some marmalade, butter and half a bowl of cereal with milk and orange juice. It might seem filling but it was the same thing everyday which became redundant and actually it wasn't all that filling cause it didn't even have any fruits or yogurt it was mostly bread. it also didn't include coffee which was strange. I'd be nice if they switched up the breakfast some time cause it wasn't all that. Also on our last day they didn't care AT ALL about our breakfast and brought half of everything ?? and forgot like half the stuff so we only ate bread with marmalade (they didn't even get us butter). I also disliked the fact that once you walked out of your room you could hear everything, made you wonder what other on your floor were listening...
We loved the newly renovated building, the rooms were pretty spacious, the beds super comfortable and very big and the bathroom was also really nice. Room service would come and tidy up every morning and they'd serve breakfast in bed anytime you wanted (between 9-10.30). Overall very nice amenities, super clean, okay staff, when it comes to soundproofing we didn't hear a word but if you were on the hallway you'd hear everything. everything. so if you're someone who appreciates your peace and quiet, I think this is for you, but be careful with loudness.

The room's window faced a wall, so you could see nothing. The breakfast was served in the room, which I found rather inconvenient because you have to agree on a time the night before, and what's more important, you get food that you will not eat and ends up in the garbage. Moreover, there was no place in the room to confortably eat breakfast, since the desk in the room barely fitted the tray.
Nice and modern room, clean and rather spacious. Very good central location, and tasty chocolates at the reception.

It may be worth putting tall travellers in rooms with full height bathrooms.

Difficult parking. Lots of noise from cars but if you close the windows you dont hear a thing.

Digital key issues; only one of us got a digital key, but it still didn't work the night we got there after reception hours saying "not issued yet". Thanks to the staff for macgyvering a spare key nearby we got in.

I would like for the airconditioning to be quitter, it was not loud but it was annoying. Also it would be nice for the breakfast to have fewer carbs.
The rooms where spacious with good quality bed and bathroom. The breakfast was nice with fresh orange juice, milk, egg and various pies. The staff was very friendly and nice.
