The room we stayed needs renovation. The bathtub was old and although clean, it had stains. It would be nice to have mosquito net at the balcony door. The bed shits were clean but the mattress was very soft with a weird feeling. It would be nice to have blinds at the bathroom as the morning light was very strong in the morning. The beach bar was understaffed and it took them 1hr to bring our order. When the club sandwich finally arrived was cold.

The location is breath taking. The landscape of the hotel’s premises very well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was very nice. We had the dinner buffet which was value for money and the food was very tasty with big variety. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and very polite!

Beautiful hotel and location. Amazing views. Lovely private beach, pool bar and cafe. The food was excellent, we especially enjoyed the plentiful and beautiful choice at the breakfast buffet, and also the menu at the bar in the evenings. The staff were first class. Very friendly and caring. They couldn’t do enough for us. The sunset at the Temple of Poseidon is out of this world. We walked up (only 2.5km) and the hotel arranged a cab back. The hotel also arranged a cab for us to have a day trip to Athens, just over an hour a way. We had a truly memorable week. It’s true that the rooms could do with a little update but ours was clean, fridge with complimentary drinks, good aircon and a powerful shower. The bed was large and very comfortable.

- The room was unbelievably old and not well cleaned. - There were no Hotel Amenity Kits except from soap and shampoo. - Νo mosquitos net - if you want fresh air you will end up chasing mosquitos all night. - The jacuzzi bath tub had remains from previous use and shocking cracks with mold!!! - Νo bed cover under the bed sheet, so you end up in the middle of the night to sleep on the mat. - The empty, old and poor wall material, the skirting that has patches in the corners(??!!), the ruined cupboards surface. - No Covid 19 measures have been taken seriously. The personnel in the restaurant wear the masks under the nose (they were very polite though) and the buffet was packed with people in the indoor area which made it a no no choice. - Dear Cape Sounio team as you can see from previous reviews from 2018 till today, several guests underline the urge of a decent room renovation. The photos we took from the room are shocking and I personally decided no to share them as they are so embarrassing that no one could imagine they are taken from this resort! Hospitality is much more than a good location and a charming lobby - main building. Sad to say that the hotel manager told us that the rooms have been renovated for this season. I felt like offering my professional consultancy to your team in order to help put the rooms together. :(

Apart from the nearby quite impressive Temple of Poseidon (from which there are beautiful sunset views) there is really no sights in the area. Poor selection of restaurants in the vicinity during our visit in early November. Not a whole lot of dinner options at the hotel either, although the à la carte restaurant was good.

Superb and huge buffet breakfast, one of the best I’ve ever had. Really nice, uncrowded pool area with nice pool bar/restaurant. Good private beach with good sun beds. And best of all, beautiful views of the Temple of Poseidon from the hotel, pool and beach.

Rooms, especially bathrooms need renovation.

Nature is wonderful and the view is stunning, location is perfect and with easy access to historical sites. Staff was very welcoming and pleasant, very good service.

For such an exclusive and expensive hotel the maintenance of the facilities is disappointing: broken pieces in the bathroom, rotten wood at the window, worn out pieces of textile, old and "tired" pieces of furniture. All this is definitely not consistent with the status and the prices of the hotel.

Unique location under the temple of Poseidon. Excellent dinner at the restaurant with lovely crew.

No negatives at all— we loved everything!

Beautiful setting, picturesque garden grounds, gorgeous and spacious pool, great beach, prompt and friendly beach bar service, really friendly and helpful staff, clean, quiet and comfortable room, delicious meals and good bar drinks, fabulous view of and proximity to the Temple of Poseidon, cleanliness and attention to detail, great value and quality. Definitely worthy of a return visit for a longer stay. Very relaxing and just close enough to perfection!

I prefer a little harder mattress, but then again those are preferences. At times at the buffet there were bees attracted to the sweet dishes. It was tricky at times to lock and unlock our front door. The water pressure in the shower was perfect, more water pressure was needed for the toilet.

The service was excellent from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The buffet breakfast and the buffet dinners had a very large and appetizing selection to choose from. The lobby was beautiful and lovely to sit and relax and have a coffee or a snack. Our experiences at the beach and the pool were very positive. Considering that it was mid August it never felt too crowded. The areas always felt clean. The grounds (gardens, grass and trees) are absolutely wonderfully kept.

Amazing place with very friendly staff ,breakfast is superb, the rooms are a bit outdated but with those views who cares. The beach is very nice with an umbrella designated for each room. The food at the restaurants is very good quality and relatively cheap. It is a third stay and we have booked for a fouth

We arrived there for our honeymoon. They didn’t do anything to make it special but instead asking us to pay upfront as soon as we arrived. There are a lot of thing to be improved to call it 5 Star. They didn’t change towels and bedding everyday. We didn’t have bathrobes on the room unless you ask. They provided only a small hand soap for 5 days. The room was clean but didn’t worth the price
