Very beautiful hotel, staff is amazing, nothing is too much to do for the guests; breakfast is delicious and authentic Greek dishes are present; freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious; Greek pastries are amazing especially the orange cake (super moist and orangy); location is literally in the heart of old town

I think that adding a good qualify espresso machine for breakfast and having a skilled barista would bring the morning experience to the next level. We will definitely come again to check if you have listened :)

It is with certain reluctance that I write this review, purely from a selfish desire to keep Hotel Delfino a hidden treasure. To me, a hotel is more than just a place to rest; it significantly enhances my overall travel experience. And Hotel Delfino did exactly that, and more. Every member of staff radiated affable warmth, welcoming us whole-heartedly and giving invaluable insights about the must-visit places and activities around. We were fortunate enough to meet Margarita, the gracious owner, whose delightful surprise added a special touch to our stay, making it all the more memorable. This is not your typical hotel boasting conventional hotel amenities; it's a charming, converted mansion where each room tells a different story. I should mention, the rooms might not exactly mirror the booking photos which add an element of surprise and novelty to your stay. If you have specific needs or preferences, don't hesitate to drop an email or call up the property before booking to ensure your expectations are met. This hotel, its distinctive charm, and exemplary staff are too delightful to face any criticism borne out of unmet expectations. The hotel constitutes two separate structures; while one is equipped with an elevator, the second building requires a bit of stair-climbing. For us, a stay at the top floor, sans an elevator, added to the charm of the place, but perhaps this might pose a hurdle for some. Hence, it's worth discussing this in advance if it's a concern for you. We were fortunate to have discovered this gem and experience a perfect stay. We only hope we continue being this lucky and get to visit Hotel Delfino more often.

There was no way to control your room temperature. It actually got pretty stuffy and warm at night. We had to sleep with the doors open, which wasn't ideal considering you heard the music and people when walking around at night. Tge lighting in the bathrooms is pretty odd as well I definitely wasn't getting ready in there, I would go out and put my Makeup on in the bedroom area by the natural light.

Overall location and morning breakfast was lovely.

We appreciate it was winter however it would have been nice to have a drink in the hotel in the evening. Really should have had a nice lounge area to relax in.

The only complaint that could make, would be about the key to the room. Its and actual key that you have to keep with you every where you go easy to lose if you aren't careful. Key card would have made entrance to the room easier, other than that no issues what so ever.

Customer service was absolutely amazing. Friendly staff made you feel at home. The room was the perfect size for a couples retreat or single traveler. Located in old town, very close to everything.

I am an American living abroad; From the moment I approached the hotel on the walking street it was a magical experience, the hotel is situated in the Old Town area on what some might consider a back alley, but beautiful, and the courtyard of the hotel is stunning. I met the owner and she was very personable and shared some of the family history of the property. The staff was very courteous and professional, accommodating and super friendly. Relaxation at its best, I cant wait to bring family and friends back to share the experience. prefect mix of old world charm and modern amenities. The Spa was incredible and private with Hamam (Steam Sauna) and Hot Tub, and massage services were top of the line. In Chania i had limited time but wanted to see if I could book a small fishing charter. The staff made the connection but unfortunately the weather didn't allow it, but absolutely will next time. Casa Delfino gets 100% marks and extra credit given in all areas. Thank you for a superior experience. I highly recommend them.

The room (and the rest of the hotel) was beautiful, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the harbour, and we could even park the hire car close to the hotel for free. We visited out of the main tourist season, so the hotel and the town were pleasantly quieter.
