Casa Manolesos is so peaceful! It has a lovely gentle atmosphere, the perfect place to relax. The rooms are new, clean, comfortable, everything is good quality, the view from the balcony across the olive groves to the mountains and sea is just lovely. And the breakfasts….are amazing!

You really feel at home at Casa Manolesos. The hosts are so welcoming and they always had good tips for trips on the island. Breakfast was amazing, the view is gorgeous and the apartment was perfectly clean.

Only thing I didn't like: leaving

Stayed at Casa Manolesos for more than a week and it was an absolute delight! Ideal location—just a stone's throw from gorgeous beaches and Chania, a town that exceeded all expectations. The hotel itself offers great amenities like a sea-view balcony, air conditioning, and a lovely pool. Everything was spotlessly clean. Enjoyed every day a wonderful breakfast by the pool. The hosts are truly kind and welcoming (thanks again for everything!). Foodies will appreciate being near high-quality restaurants under 20 euros a person, and practical needs are met with nearby supermarkets. Bonus for animal lovers—this place is pet-friendly! Can't recommend enough for a perfect Cretan getaway.

Exceptional welcome from the hosts, the traditional Cretan breakfast is an absolute must - beautifully served by the poolside. There is a Taverna around 10 minutes walk away (torch advised!) where food is available until fairly late. Ideally a hire car is needed to get around otherwise it's a case of relying on taxis that come at a bit of a price

At the end of the Chania Airport airstrip is doable but when the NATO jets are practicing, it's sort of overwhelming. But that count for the entire region west of Chania airport.

It's a beautiful spot and a truely luxurious house/hotel/B&B and the entire family is very welcoming and hospitable.

Just could not be faulted on our accommodation plus one of the most comfortable beds in manny years of travelling very nice people so friendly which made you feel safe

To be honest we did not try because our friends who we where visiting only live five minutes walk away but other guests seem to enjoy the experience also the staff where always on hand to assist us with any way they could.

I think we liked everything here.

Nice hotel with a really friendly staff. Nico especially was great! The homemade lemonade they offered on a really hot day was the best! Room was clean and spacious and bed was comfy. Pool area was great and not crowded. Location was a walking distance from the beautiful beach and restaurants.

Just as info: It's an accomodation that you can mostly enjoy if you rent a car, it is not so easy to reach by public transport or on foot.

The owners are really kind and friendly, always ready to help. The accomodation was just the right size for us, not so many other guests. The view from our room was beautiful and the terrace was comfortable enough to sit outside. The breakfast was delicious, with different choices and when they found out, that I can't drink cow milk, they got me plant-based milk for the next morning. The rooms where kept very clean. We would be happy to come back here anytime.

Property was excellent and the staff are amazing, the only thing I would say is that without a car it can be a little tough to get around because many of the roads don’t have pedestrian footpaths - but this is common for most of Crete outside of the city area.

Awesome trip! Loved every second of our holiday. The family who run the hotel are really welcoming, helpful and accommodating to any requests you may have while on holiday. We had a fabulous breakfast in the rooms most mornings, got given lots of useful advice on what to do, where to eat and I’d recommend Casa Manolesos to anyone staying in the Chania area!

Mosquito bits, it's a very hot country but I didn't think of it. Be prepare a spray bottle of repellent.

We love the room, which was a large size to fit all of us three, and there was everything we needed. Rooms are cleaned every day. Nikos and his parents are very welcoming us. Nikos' father offered us a homegrown fruit to try on a first day arriving. It's sweet of him. There was a nice beach nearby and tavern offered a really delicious food for lunch at 1pm. We had a Greek Yougurt with honey for a desert, and I couldn't believe how good it was... also love the cat, he visited us every day. We are all missing him... Sweet Gatta, kissss...

The property owners, Taki, Maria and Niko were amazingly hospitable. Super friendly, always available, nothing was ever too hard. Rooms were super clean and spacious, beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfasts were good, brought out to you at a time that suited you. Tranquility and privacy to aid in achieving your inner peace. Fully recommend.

I can’t speak highly enough about my stay at Casa Manolesos, a beautiful and magical property situated in the hills of Chania. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome and level of service I experienced was truly amazing. It was clear I was visiting a very special place. The rooms and facilities are exceptional and pristine, everything looks and feels brand new. The property offers stunning panoramic sea and city views that can be enjoyed from both inside the wonderfully comfortable and modern rooms and also outside from the beautiful dining areas and spacious pool area. The highlight every day for me was being able to enjoy a quiet morning swim in the pool before sitting down to the delicious freshly cooked breakfast while soaking up the relaxing ambiance of Casa Manolesos while surrounded by some of the most amazing sea and city views I've ever experienced. The food is glorious, there's also a great selection of drinks available and everything is excellent value for money. The overall dining experience is something I’ll never forget. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing Greek Island getaway. The location is great, it’s just a short drive from the airport and the city of Chania, and just a 12-minute walk from Kalathas Beach. 

Nikos is a truly world class host, the level of attention to detail and supreme service from Nikos and every member of family and staff was just incredible and helped create a trip that I will cherish the memories of forever.
