Everything! From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed with kindness and care. The hotel was even better than the photos and was meticulously clean! I had the best sleep I have had in weeks on the very comfortable bed. The lighting was beautiful and the attention to detail and little extras perfect. George and his family should be congratulated on such a wonderful hotel and incredibly, generous hospitality! PS The breakfast was awesome too!!

I've been here before and had to come back. It's such a great place. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are all different and quirky but all are comfortable and well appointed, and breakfast in the shady courtyard is the perfect way to start the day!

The breakfast was just right. The location was superb, and Alecia and hee husband were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a slight problem was the fact that the bed had a kind of wooden shelf going right round it - this made it quite difficult for me to get on and off, since I have weak knees.

A perfect and quiet location situated just inside the walls of the old town . An old building with history , but sensitively renovated to accommodate 12 rooms with outdoor relaxing terraces . From the moment of arrival the hotel interior looks beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable with very modern shower units set into the old city walls - perfect! But it is the welcome offered by Georgios and Alexia and the ideas and concern to make your holiday a success which worked so well for me . Everyday I had some new guidance in answer to my requests e.g. for vegetarian restaurants . Everything was perfect ! The hotel is SO conveniently placed for everything . Housekeeping is excellent ( fresh linen , towels and yes, shower curtain and bath mat changed EVERY day .) A most relaxing but super efficiently run hotel .

Awkward for us that we couldn’t leave our suitcases for long, but may be due to family difficulties.

Well situated from the port - easy to wheel suitcases. Very short walk to Old town. Lovely outdoor space right next to the old wall. Generous size and well equipped room. Comfy bed. Quirky design in the room, which would not be for everyone. But amused us! Friendly staff.

Room is a bit small for a double bed, even though the bed was placed against the wall, it was not comfortable for a couple.

Breakfast, which was served in a lovely courtyard alongside the historic town walls, was really good and included a great selection of home made jams and preserves. Our Cave Room was full of character with comfortable bed and cute seating area outside our door. A further highlight was the kindness of the family/staff that ran this delightful hotel.

Location good for access to old town of Rhodes. On edge of town so not quite so claustrophobic as other accommodation. Very nice reception and dining areas all outside. Very good breakfast.

My stay at Cava D'Oro was a great pleasure and enhanced my holiday experience greatly. The staff are so helpful and accomodating that you will feel at home immediately. It's not for show either, it's a genuine desire to help their customers have a great experience. The breakfast is very good too. Fresh fruits,fresh bread, pastries, greek pie, freshly squeezed orange juice and more - it really sets you up well for the day. The building and the room looked like the pictures, you can see a lot of care and attention has gone into creating a beautiful and comfortable space. The location, inside the old town walls, is very close to all the attractions but is just outside the busy area so is quiet in the evening and it only takes a short walk to be right in the heart of old town. I booked the airport transfer to and from the airport and both were really great. The driver from the airport was friendly and helpful and suggested some great things to do and see in the area. He also told me some of the local language which I used throughout my stay. Transfer back to the airport was taken care of by George himself so it was also great to have a chat on the way home. I recommend this accomodation as it's a lot more that just a place to stay, it's an embodiment of the warmth and friendliness you will receive when you visit beautiful Rhodes.

Everything was perfect. I cannot stress enough how kind and polite the staff is! They are amazing people and went out of their way to make things comfortable for all their clients. The Airton system was noisy in our room

Great conversion of an old listed property. Every room was different and characterful. Owners were very helpful and friendly. In the Old Town but very quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the central area.
