Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

United KingdomI cannot think of anything that I did not like.
The place is located about 15min walk from the Galisas beach, which in our opinion was the best and most organised beach in the island. The apartments are also located a couple of minutes' walk from the bus stop, where you can board buses to take you westwards or eastwards, depending on where you want to go. A very quiet place, there is a big courtyard between the apartments, plenty of parking space and a great spot to sit outside and enjoy your drink/meal. The owners were extremely friendly and gave us plenty of tips for our stay in the island.

IrelandWe liked that we had separate rooms yet shared a balcony (we were a family of 5) it was nicely secluded, away from the tourist area, and had trees and vegetation. The host was kind, attentive yet in no way intrusive and walking distance from Gallisas and is on a bus route.

GreeceIt may be a little bit difficult to walk to the hotel from Galissas at night if you don't have a vehicle because the road is too dark and there is not a pavement. Also i am of the opinion that they could offer a better supply of toilet paper. What i mean is that staff offers only two toilet papers every "cleaning day" which i find not sufficient for such as a basic product.
The room was quite cozy and spacious (for a couple of two) and it offers almost everything you may need during your holidays (a/c, a small kitchen where you can cook or make a cup of coffee, a lovely garden with table and chairs). Also the staff cleans the rooms day after day so it's very clean. The place is really peaceful although it's locates near the main road of the village. Noise won't be your problem there! You can easily reach the hotel by bus (the bus stop is about 100m. ~or less) or you can take a taxi from (or to) Hermoupolis (or any other location).

Galissas is great, beautiful beach close by, easy access to Ermoupoli by local bus.

IrelandI'd book further in advance next time I come so I can reserve the ground floor room with a private veranda. I'd prefer not to share a balcony with the apartment next door so I can really make the most of my stay. Will definetely be back.
Caviri is a really nice place to stay. Anna and Giorgos are a lovely couple and make you feel welcome. They were very helpful and made my stay very enjoyable. My studio was spotlessly clean, with a full sized fridge and well equipped kitchen. You have the benefit of peace and quiet on your balcony while being only ten minutes from the beach.

Nice room, very clean. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Towels and linen are changed every second day. Caviri is surrounded by beautiful garden. Excellent Galissas beach is 10 min. of walking.
