Ample space, facilities with adequate equipment, two spacious balconies. Mrs Chrysa is a kind and very helpful host. The apartment has interesting history related to Patras and it's heritage.

Chryssa is a wonderful host and the place feels very special. The apartment belongs to her family, which is one of the old families of Patras and you feel the connection to the rich history of the city in the appartment. Chryssa will tell you more about it. The apartment is clean, has nice balcony, is centrally located and when we arrived, Chryssa pulled out a box with toys for our kids. What else can you wish for?

The location is great, easy walking to all the points of interest. The apartment looks actually better than in the pictures and you can find inside all that you need. The host is really great, she told us a lot of interesting things about the history of the city.

The lack of a queen/king bed. During our stay there were come constructions on site and blocked the view from the window - not the host's fauld though.

The apartment is bigger than we expected and has everything you need (except for a queen/king bed). It is very clean, the host lives the next door, so it is easy to collect the keys. She also waited us with some extra treats and had so many nice stories about the flat and family. She was very kind and careful to our 6 year old son and did everything to make us feel welcomed.

Chryssa's apartment was one the best places I've ever stayed at. She met us at the place and immediately made us feel at home. The location of the apartment is central, but at the same time on a quiet street. The owner of the place made sure to create a unique space with a lot of history and comfort. Not a disadvantage, just a reminder that parking near the house might be challenging in the evening as in any Greek city.

Chryssa was the most amazing host. We arrived by ferry and we’re supposed to disembark by 10.40 PM, which is already after her usual check in hours but she told us it wasn’t a problem. Then our ferry was extremely late and we ended up arriving at almost 3AM - but she got up anyway, showing us around in her beautiful place in the middle of the night! And she even reserved a parking space for us since we came by car. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, I especially loved all the little details she had put up around the place - for example a small bottle of Greek wine, coffee (with a recipe hanging on the wall), little colorful lights - it was just gorgeous.

None of what follows is about our host or where we stayed, but it meant we did not want to linger in the city and won't be inclined to return. Patras lacked charm, had a good deal of rubbish and vegetation in the streets and graffiti everywhere. There is a curious mix of expensive and attractive newly-built apartments, ugly concrete utility flats and houses and a fair sprinking of very run-down and abandoned property.

Very warm welcome and great trouble taken to ensure we had all the items and information necessary for our short stay.
