We enjoyed our stay very much. Zaira and the staff did their best to make us feel welcome and settled. Rooms were spacious and clean. The feeling of comfort and relaxation that the ambience creates will make this property fast one of your favorites.

Mani is stunning, close to many beautiful villages like Limeni and beaches like Marmari, as well as caves etc. We liked the relaxed atmosphere, the quietness and peace. Food is delicious, staff are caring and practical.

The hotel is situated up a fairly steep hill and the paving slabs in the courtyard were tricky to walk over so if someone had a mobility problem they would have to be careful. As our tower room was on the upper level there were uneven steps to it which might benefit from an additional hand rail all the way up.

A beautiful setting for having breakfast and dinner in the courtyard. Lovely room in a restored tower in Mani area. Family run with attentive personal service and knowledge to help guests get the most out of visiting this area. Food was often homemade and local with amazing breakfast platters and an extensive wine list. It felt like a unique experience and we loved the rustic charm of it all.

Everything was perfect!

This hotel blends the old with all the comforts of the modern world. The Mani towers were a revelation to us but they have been enhanced by a contemporary twist. Zaira and her parents could not have been kinder. My wife was unwell when we arrived but left fully restored. Thank you!

We stayed at Citta dei Nicliani for 3 days - everything is perfection. The hotel, the welcome and the hospitality and the food (the food!) were all sublime. We are just sad we are not staying for another 3 days and we will be back for sure. Thank you so much for such a dreamy stay.

A unique experience to stay in a traditional Mani tower house, with perfect balance of privacy and personal attention by kind and welcoming hosts. Delicious and beautifully presented breakfast provided each morning and (optional) dinner, using locally sourced ingredients and range of wines from an extensive cellar. Our hosts were very helpful in providing guidance for touring the surrounding area and beaches, including the local history and culture. The location is not for those seeking a beach or harbourside stay, waking up to see the sea (all of which are only 5 minutes drive away). This is what sets it apart from other places and delivers more over a stay of at least a few days. Ideal for a slow paced holiday.

We have nothing negative to say at all!

We can't say enough good things about Citta dei Nicliani. It is a beautiful historic space run by the most wonderful family. The breakfast was delicious and so were the two dinners we enjoyed there. The attention to detail in both our room and the rest of the spaces in general was just incredible. This is clearly a labor of love for the family. An added bonus was that we are vegetarian and it's clear they are making a real effort to accommodate people with plant-based diets. That along with the fact that they are obviously animal lovers made us feel right at home! A dog and several cats provided endless entertainment during our stay.

Our stay in Citta dei Nicliani was incredibly nice. It is a very well located hotel with exquisite taste and really nice views. Not only is the staff amazingly nice but they are also extremely attentive to the guest’s needs. Overall, it is a highly recommendable hotel as it offers and ensures guests an amazing stay. I personally recommend for you to stay and have dinner one night since the homemade food is delicious.

The hotel is beautiful and so peaceful. The food is incredible, both breakfast and dinner. The hotel is the perfect location to explore the Mani peninsula and we also enjoyed relaxing at the hotel and taking a refreshing dip. The family who own the hotel are very happy to help and gave us lots of tips for our time in Mani. We highly recommend this hotel and we home to return in the future.

Everything was perfect for a rural retreat with fabulous beaches nearby and exceptional food. The owners were very friendly and the views amazing. Our room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and the property is in a very central location for exploring the Mani peninsula. Zaria, our host, was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations for out of the way tavernas, beaches and villages to explore.
