Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Belgiumthe beds are a littlebit too hard - the stairs were no problem for us, it is a way to keep fit after all the Greek delights!
This apartment could not be in a better location to discover the old city, and Corfu in general; waking up here is what we will miss the most: the entire place bathing in sunlight, the sound of swallows and an astonishing view on the sea. Christian was waiting for us to hand over the key and we where so happy to find some food and drinks when we arrived late in the evening. During the entire stay he was helpful for advice - he is not a 'normal' host but a proud owner who wants his guests to have a wonderful time. The excellent Nespresso coffee machine was an extra argument for us to book this apartment :) Although the old center is just a few minutes by foot and you are surrounded by restaurants and bars, it was so quiet in the night as if we were not in a city at all.

United KingdomWhen we booked we would have liked to have been able to clearly see that the apartment was on the 4th and 5th floor - no lift. As one of our party had a slight knee injury, he was unable to stay and moved into a hotel instead. I believe it would have been fair if the description mentioned 4th and 5th floor, steep stairs, NO LIFT
The location, the view , welcome drinks, coffee, bread etc, charming building

United KingdomNothing.
The host left nice food in the fridge, including quails' eggs! The flat has a glorious location, top floor, with a view directly onto the sea from two angles, and is very airy with the windows open. There is wonderful swimming on the town beach a stone's throw away, and a lovely taverna below. I can't imagine a nicer place to stay on Corfu.

What can we say about the lighthouse apartment The location is fabulous and the views are amazing. You are on the edge of the old town overlooking Vidos Island and the Albanian Coast. Close to fantastic bars and Tavernas Special mention here for Taverna Mouragia which is steps away from the apartment (very useful when we had a wet evening), also Tsantsamini which is a very small Greek restaurant tucked away in a side street which we visited on out first night and loved it so much we also had our last meal there (please make the effort to find this very special place) and for terrific pancake breakfast try Favela Nº17. You will not be short of places to eat here. Back to the actual apartment, there are a few stairs, but this is made very clear in the description and the views this gives you are well worth the effort. The apartment is very well decorated and equipped, we had a bit of rain one day and could sit and relax in the apartment much better than we could in an hotel. A simple breakfast is provided when you arrive which is great to get you started if you arrive late and also a bottle of Ouzo was very welcome. Both bedrooms are large and have great views, you can spend hours looking at the House Martins aerial antics as well as boats coming and going from the port. The bedrooms share an aircon unit so we turned it on before we went to bed with both doors open and it worked a treat. We didn’t use the kitchen (why would you when you are surrounded by the best food in the world) but it looked to be well equipped. There is a large dining table, comfortable chairs, and a TV (didn’t even turn it on) but it’s the small touches which really make it special such as the umbrellas and small food parcel which really show what a great host Christian is.

United KingdomI would like to say for us it was perfect, however if you are unable to navigate 64 spiral steps this isn't the place for you. We found it useful as we over indulged on the local food and wine.
Our Host Christian greeted us on our arrival and warmly welcomed us. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our bags and enjoy the rest of the day. Christian gave us some useful tips and we enjoyed a wonderful meal in Mouragia taverna just outside the front door. The kitchen was well equipped and has a Nespresso coffee machine with a very generous supply of capsules which was a nice touch. The fridge held some breakfast items to get us started on our first morning again this was greatly appreciated. There were books and games for the children too. We would recommend the hop on hop off bus. Also the Gerald Durrell tour (please watch the Durrells TV programme if you haven't already watched it), it comes alive when you visit Corfu. It interesting to watch the planes land and take off at the edge of the very short runway! We ate out every night and it was very resonably priced our favourite was Tsantsamini, Excellent food, lovely service, live music set in the gardens of a family run restaurant. This was a lucky find while meandering round the town, its a stones throw from the Lighthouse appartment. There are some great bars that sold really cold beers and ice cream shops at every corner, lots of shops selling local crafts and clothes.

United KingdomAbsolutely stunning apartment! The location and views were phenomenal, and the apartment itself is of an impeccable standard and beautifully furnished, as well as spotlessly clean. The host was extremely kind and has thought of everything to enhance your stay - we managed to check in on the first (and only!) day of rain in months and the apartment even day umbrellas to borrow for our whole group ! Sitting in the living room with the windows open, the view just surrounds you, it's a magical place and really one of the nicest we have stayed in - highly recommend!

United KingdomLiterally perfect. Being so high up we even had a great view of the swifts.
We had high expectations and they were comfortably exceeded. Rooms beautifully furnished, lit and decorated. Beds were super-comfy. Thoughtful details everywhere. We felt at home immediately, and all right on the edge of the lovely Corfu old town, within a stone's throw of a quiet little beach-cove for swimming.

United KingdomEverything was great, only thing but not an issue for me is the light coming through the window in the morning- so maybe if light sensitive bring a eye mask. Honestly, did not make an issue as I love waking up to natural light, but incase you might.
such a cute apartment, the host was super fast at replying and really helpful with places to eat and getting a taxi to our next place. Even left us breakfast and milk for coffee in the morning- how amazing. Beds are super comfy and everything was thought of (extra beach towels, bathroom toiletries etc…). If you want a great comfortable stay super close to the old town, look no more. This is the one.
