Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsLike everywhere else, good and professional stuff is a problem. From first meeting with a lady at a restaurant we find her a rude person. We spoke about her behaviour with a manager. He ensures us that was nobody else at a moment for her position. Verder was just fine, and we didn't spoil our vacation because of the behaviour of this one person .
Nice charming hotel at very good location. Of course, if you like peaceful and quiet street. Old but charming hotel with Greece kitchen and fantastic manager is located next to the sea. Fewer shops and restaurants are a few hundred meters feeder. Also, car rentals and bus station is around the corner. Inaf parking space around if you have a car with you.

United StatesThe beds were TERRIBLY uncomfortable - we complained and they put mattress toppers on them which helped a lot. The bathroom near the pool wouldn't flush, and would become FILLED with feces. We mentioned it over and over, day after day, and it was never fixed. We did the all-inclusive -- the food was so-so. it was just a simple buffet with very little variety. The bar also only served soda, beer and red/white cheap wines. Nothing else which was disappointing. Mixed drinks would be nice. The pool is VERY tiny - other hotels nearby had MUCH nicer ones that we could see and covet. They only supply a small amount of lounge chairs - if you don't get down and snag one early in the morning, you'll have no where to lay by the pool. The lounge chairs at the beach are NOT included with your stay - you have to pay to use them. Location wise this was difficult to get to being between Herkaloin and Chania.
We liked that they had a pool and that they were pretty close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and tried their best to help however they could.

United Kingdomwardrobe space very limited, hangers were not removeable. hair dryer in bathroom was box affair that you held onto a tube that had to be clicked in certain way to wok and was not very powerful. all inclusive drinks were only from 12.00 to 22.0 and were limited. no sugar free drinks included in all inclusive. beds were like laying on a board.
room was quite big and balcony a decent size. tv was very clear screen. nice to have fridge and kettle in room. air coditioning unit worked very well and kept room nice and cool
