Everything..it's such a brilliant hotel and exactly what we love, it's a small hotel on the outskirts of Malia yet only a few minutes from the supermarkets and Taverna's (of which there are many fantastic ones). The rooms are nice, comfortable, suitably equipped and cleaned regularly. The friendliness and welcome you receive sets this hotel apart, run by a family who are really lovely, caring people, always around for a friendly chat, laugh and sort out anything you may need. The swimming pool is a nice temperature, very clean with plenty of sun beds and a great bar, they also serve lovely food made by mama! We've had a fantastic family holiday and would really recommend this place if what I've said above is what you are after.

The shower did not have a curtain so the bathroom gets a little wet.

The hospitality and helpfulness of the staff was beyond our expectations. They also have good expertise regarding car rental companies. The fact that it is run by a family makes it more personal so it feels like coming home at the end of the day. They try to make your stay as perfect as they can. Another important thing is the excellent location. It's close enough to the main street but far enough to not be bothered by the clubs and music.

We were happy. Beach is just 10 minutes walk. Not a problem.

We had really nice refreshing and relaxed time. Malia archeological site is just 20 minutes, to Knossos one have to take a bus from the Malia center.

We had an amazing stay at Danelis apartments. The rooms were very spacious and clean with great facilities. The pool area was definitely ahighlight - we spent many lovely days by the pool enjoying drinks and food from the bar. But our favourite part of the trip was by far the hospitality: Nikos and his family catered to every possible need and were extremely friendly and welcoming. Nikos even organised a karaoke night for us at the pool bar and was always around for a chat, when he wasn't making his signature cocktails (highly recommended!)

First night we faced some issue with noisy neighbours but fixed by Makis immediately no issues till end of our stay.

First of all atmosphere created by whole family, starting with both brothers but also have to mention here about Stella (i hope correct writing here) who does fantastic job here by keeping apartments in very good order. Swimming pool which i think covers all guests needs as very clean and quite big + a lot of sun beds - no problem to find place here. Some trees (palms) so also you can find here a shade. Location far away from street where all the night clubs and pubs so no issue with noise in night time but really close to amazing Malia old town where many taverns. Nice drinks and food here.

The pool and snack bar had a really good atmosphere. But the best part was the staff they were so lovely and would do anything they could to improve your stay. It was a short walk from the strip and from the old town with nice restaurants. Great value for money. Would 100% recommend for other girls holidays

Perfect stay. Family are wonderful hosts I arrived on my birthday and they decorated my room and upgraded us to a larger room.room clean and spacious we had everything we needed to hand and only had to ask if we needed anything else. A great location quiet area with shops and restaurants within walking distance. We definitely look forward to returning here for the best Greek hospitality.

Fabulous friendly hotel run by the most wonderful family. Made to feel welcome immediately and looked after throughout our stay. Just outside the bustle of the village so nice and quiet. Had air conditioning, a safe and plenty of hot water. Excellent cleanliness. Location excellent and hope to return.

Pool was great, in a great location about a 5 minute walk from the top of the strip, easy to find and quiet at night. Staff were more than helpful in every aspect with recommendations, friendliness, banter and the food here was delicious for a very nice price too. Highly recommend staying here wether you’re here with your family or if you’re here for a party week with your mates.

Brilliant location, quiet spot between the sea and the town Family run apartments with a tremendous welcome. lovely pool, Mama cooks great food, we had a good choice for snacks and breakfast. We were recommended a restaurant within easy walking distance and it was fab. We could walk to the Minoan Archeological site Would recommend Danelis Apartments to everyone. we will definitely return

We felt very welcome when we arrived at Danelis place. Nice clean rooms with a terras or balcony. The two brothers (Nikos and Makis) are the host and running the bar, mama does the cooking. Let them know what you want for diner and mama will prepare it. The family let you feel welcome and they are very helpful. They have a lot of humor and always interesting in you. Really nice hotel near the malia strip but not on the strip so at night it is quiet but you can real easily go to the busy strip. It is also close to the old town of malia were there are a lot of nice restaurants. The rooms are clean with a big balcony and there is a nice pool to relax. There is also a dart board and a pooltable to play some games. The owners of this place made our stay extra fun, they were always up for a laugh and would do anything to make your stay more comfortable. Also they have the best raki in the whole island. We really enjoyed our stay here and I would definitley recommend it!

Whatever the purpose of your stay, this hotel is perfect. Location is great - the beach, the old town, the party strip and food shop are all within walking distance. The hotel owners are fantastic and made our stay so enjoyable. The pool is beautiful and clean. Breakfast is great. Welcoming atmosphere. Just can’t fault it!
