Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We loved our stay at Dimtris apartment! The room was excellent, cozy and fresh and was cleaned daily by the super friendly cleaning lady. The kitchen was great, equipped with everything you need to make simple melas. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious and fresh. We had a lovely view of the port of Bali and were just a 3 minute walk away from the beach, the restaurant and the shops. The owner, Dimitri is amazing. He made us feel very welcome with coffe when we arrived at the hotel in the morning and invited us for wine, fruit and music the same night. He also drove us to a supermarket a bit further away so we would be able to buy ingredients for cocking a bit cheaper. We loved everything about our days in Bali and at Dimitris apartments and when it was time to go home Dimitri was so kind and drove us to the bus station!

United KingdomThere was nothing about the property that we didn’t like, but it was a long way down/up steps to reach the harbour, but that was offset by the views being so good.
The apartment had spectacular views across Bali harbour and from the back small balcony, fantastic views of the sea and dramatic mountains. The rooms were what I call traditional Greek rooms, with a large bedroom, small kitchen and reasonable lounge. It had a lovely balcony to the front. The owner, Dimitris, was a very friendly man who put on a musical performance for the guests on the Sunday evening, where he gave us all fruit and wine and played Greek music on his guitar, it was a lovely evening.

United KingdomTucked away in a lovely cove, Dimitri offers older style units but you have everything you need. Walking is easy and beautiful to all the terrific local taverns and shops. The pool is next door at his cousins and it’s in a beautiful location and can be used anytime. Dimitri was very generous to drop us at bus stop after a terrific night on the balcony with him singing along with his guitar.

GermanyAmazing location at the end of Bali, having a wonderful view on the bay and being able to reach beaches / restaurants / shops within minutes. The host Dimitri welcomed us with a delicious greek coffee and was there to help whenever we needed him! Once in a while he is hosting an evening for his guests serving his own whine, delicious fruits and as well playing some traditional greek music on his guitar. Just lovely! We will definitely come back when we are around :)

RomaniaEverything was perfect.
I had an amazing 3 days stay at Dimitris Apartments and the best Cretan experience possible. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and with an amazing view. Tavernas and local beaches are easy to reach, as well as the bus station. By walking from and towards the bus station, one has the possibility to enjoy all the particularities of this amazing village. There are connections with Heraklion and Rethymno, so I could take the bus daily and visit other beautiful places. Moreover, Dimitris is a great host. He would do his best to make his guests enjoy to the fullest the stay in Bali and in his villa. Dimitris, your coffee is the best and your house and its surroundings are a piece of Heaven! I am looking forward to hearing you again playing guitar and singing those amazing songs in Greek. Greetings from Romania!

CanadaThe single beds and pillows, like at many hotels in Crete, are a little hard. The queen size bed in the larger room was comfortable.
Dimitris Apartments is like a dream. The view, the welcome, the proximity to Bali's best beach and to the port and its cafés and supermarket, all made us feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful little hotel. Do not hesitate... You will be happy there.

SwitzerlandThere was no air conditioning in the bedroom. The bathroom was very small and the mattress felt very old, a new one would make sleeping much more pleasant.
Dimitris is a very hospitable man. Very nice and supportive. The location is good if you can handle stairs, it's only 2 minutes from the port where you find many restaurants and the beach. The view is nice especially at night when you see the lights of the port. The area was very quiet. The apartment was very clean but the furniture and appliances very dated (but we knew this from the pictures).

Polandthere is nothing that we didn't like :) . only 1 point i would like to point out for fellow travelers, if you dont drive like me, then only 2 ways to get to the apartment . 1) taxi 2) little train going around the bali. if you are coming to bali from KTEL bus. u can catch little train from KTEL bus stop and go until apartment. apartment located in the end of the hill (Bali). it will cost 3euro per person 1 way. Bali is best town if you drive your own, but still you can do it by public transport also, like we did :)
everything was excellent, Dimitry is a such a nice guy, very friendly and always there to help, one of the best host i have ever met. he was there to handover keys and we choose room4 , which has 1 of the best view. if u like nice instagram pics , u should choose room 4 . nice big apartment with 2 separate bed rooms and kitchen, you will have view from front and back balcony. view was excellent. apartment was vintage style, with everything you need and good beds. really beautiful, charming and super clean apartment with nice view. this was the one of the best stay we had entire trip in Crete, we will recommend it 1000% to anyone and revisit :D

Czech RepublicWe really loved our host, although speaks English only a little bit, we understood each other very well and had beautiful authentic Greek evening together. He upgraded our room to a big apartment (with no extra charge) with kitchen and balcony, furniture was simple, but sufficient. Great location to explore nearby beaches.
