Eleni was exceptional in the way she looked after us, not only in providing transfers to and from the airport, but was friendly and helpful in pointing us in the direction of some of the area's places to visit. Drakano is a lovely quiet spot with lots of rural tracks and beautiful coves and beaches.

The setting is lovely surrounded by flowers and with a sea view. Beautiful beaches to walk to nearby and 2 local tavernas next to the shoreline and the sound of the sea. Really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful!

Eleni was incredibly helpful and welcoming and went out of her way to help us. Despite our flight to the island being delayed for over an hour, we were still met for the transfer to the property. The room overlooked the local village, and the garden was a delight.

Everything was perfect for me.

The location was magical for me, if you like nature and quietness , the Drakano Rooms is the perfect place in Faros. The room has got high ceiling and the position of the windows makes it ideal if you don’t want to use the air conditioner, I am not of fun of it. The walk from the village to the accommodation was amazing, as there are not lights, you could enjoy the beauty of the stars and the sounds of the nature. The place was clean, spacious with a basic kitchen , that was enough for a light cooking. Sitting on the veranda for breakfast or late in the evening, surrounded by flowers and cats of course (love them😊) .

It didn't worry me but the rooms are a 15 minute walk from the local village and beach - but the coastal route provides great views. The wifi signal was variable, rooms closer to the router get better reception.

Drakano rooms provides simple accommodation in a beautiful location and is great value for money.

The breakfast was very welcome. The food was provided with a kitchenette to prepare the meal yourself at your own convenience. There was a table and chairs on a balcony with a great view. Great start to the day.

I felt very peaceful and restful here, enjoying to wake up everyday surrounded by flowers and a stunning view to Faros valley and sea. Easy walk to the restaurants and minimarket. Remote and astonishing beaches 20-30 min walk from Drakano rooms. My room was very spacious, with a small kitchenette to cook, and Elani stocked up some food for breakfast. Extra bonus for the free airport shuffle that Elani provides! Thank you for everything!

The distance from restaurants and the beach was almost prohibitive since we didn't have a car.

The room was very nice and such a quiet place to relax! We stayed there one night to be close to the airport. The kind lady who ran Drakano Rooms took us to the airport the next morning. There was quite a hike to get to the beach and restaurants. We weren't quite prepared for that!

Everything was fine!

Nice and quiet room on the hill with a perfect view at faros beach which can be reached within 15 minutes on foot. We stayed 3 nights and we enjoyed it especially when we were relaxing at the veranda which is surrounded by flowers. There were olive, pear and fig trees around the rooms. Breakfast was rich also. It was expecting us in the room upon arrival. Owner was polite and helpfull!We will choose it again when visiting Ikaria next time.

The rooms are on a hill, in a very calm and quiet area with a very nice view. Beautiful plants and flowers everywhere. Very close to some heavenly beaches and views of the coast, but difficult to reach without a car. Rooms are very clean, big and nice. Staff is friendly and chilled. Overall a super nice experience!

Too much light in the room in the morning.

Beautiful view and garden. If you like sweet breakfast they have very tasty homemade jam and honey (salt breakfast are made of not good quality cheese and salami, in our room salami was also expired). Good position to visit the east side of Ikaria.
