What a magnificent time we had during our stay at Earino! The true hospitality from Nikos and his family made us feel as welcome as old friends. The cottage was delightful, the views extraordinary, and the food so very fresh, local, and representative of the region (including their own delicious wine!). We loved the place so much, we’re coming back with friends before we leave Crete to experience this magical mountain oasis again!

Honestly, everything was perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable. Nikos and all the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Their restauran on site is also very very good, with a stunning view. If you want to know the real Crete, this is the place to go.

It is in a beautiful location high on a hill. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning. (It’s also cooler up in the hill!). The food is wonderful—we ate breakfast and dinner there every day. It was a good base for exploring the area—Knossos, wineries, and so on.

This hotel restaurant is a gem. Very large fully equipped rooms and an amazing restaurant with some of the best mountain views in Kreta. We had our best food here during our entire holiday. The hosts are just lovely people and will do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as can be! Hope to come back here one day and have a nice cold Raki with them

The restaurant on site was phenomenal! The accommodation was spacious and so nice to just walk a few steps to get a drink or coffee! We couldn't hear anything from inside the property. It was idyllic for our family!!

All the 5-stars reviews do not lie: we absolutely loved our stay at Earino. Such a calming and relaxing place to take a break and disconnect. Our apartment as well as the restaurant overviewing the village were very lovely. The host took great care of us, offered us a drink at our arrival and was always making sure everything was to our liking, while also leaving us space and time to enjoy our stay peacefully, which was greatly appreciated. We loved waking up to the sunrise and the sounds of the village (and animals!) coming alive. The food (both breakfast and dinner) were absolutely amazing, the best we’ve had in Crete. Thank you so much!

A spacious, two level apartment at the top of a hill in a very pleasant small complex comprising a large restaurant with great views of the surrounding hills. The whole complex feels like a hacienda from a Western movie. The owner was extremely helpful, friendly, and patient (we arrived late around midnight after having lost our way, which translated into a quick small meal served on his initiative). The restaurant was absolutely fantastic, with a varying food everyday: it was clearly the choice of the locals. We cannot recommend this place strong enough.

Earino is at the top of a hill with a tavern patio overlooking a beautiful valley, a spacious apartment and warm hosts. The food was plentiful and delicious. We felt welcomed and cared for.

Noisy during the daytime owing to proximity of restaurant and children playing outside apartments. Not what you expect from a mountain village and I had to keep my windows closed.

We loved everything about Earino.

The room was exceptional, the hosts were so gracious and warm. The food was amazing! It was quiet and relaxing. I recommend the breakfast, best 6 euros you'll ever spend. Beautiful location in the hills above the village. 10/10 would go back.
