Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI think the restaurant / bar atmosphere and food offer could be improved to match the standard offered by the accommodation. However there are many local restaurants / taverna's that we enjoyed nearby.
We liked the contemporary design of the building and its contents, the pool and our proximity to the sea. Eco-suites are also located on a beautiful undeveloped stretch of the Sithonia peninsula, giving access to many quiet beaches in a wonderful landscape setting

IsraelDinner at the hotel is not at the level I would expect from a hotel at this level. The menu is very small and the dishes are underwhelming. There are no restaurants in walking distance so you are pretty much stuck with eating there unless you drive 15-20 minutes to close-by towns.
The location is great, right next to a beautiful and rather quiet beach. The suites are very large and comfortable. The room design is very unique which we liked a lot.

BulgariaSome little things that annoyed our stay - the complex consists of some old buildings full with children, which was a problem when we were chilling in and in front of the Suite - they were extremely loud playing in the pool in front of the rooms. There were a few spiders in our room despite the provided mosquito repellent plug in. There was an electricity problem and we didn't have electricity and hot water for around 2 hours for one night.
We had the most wonderful vacation at the EcoSuites. The design of the rooms is very contemporary and well thought. The whole complex is organised to relax and money is not involved - you can eat at the Cantina, drink at the Pool and Beach Bars and the payment goes in the final bill of your room. We enjoyed the private beach of the complex almost every day. There were towels to use for the pool and beach and a tote bag to carry them. The waitress at the Cantina was our favourite person - always very kind and friendly. The food was spectacular, mostly Greek simple dishes at reasonable prices. Definitely want to visit the private villas in the future.

SerbiaThe only thing we dislike was sound isolation. You can hear everything from the side or upper rooms.
Clean, calm, nice looking hotel with great pleasant stuff. Hotel has swimming pool right in front of the apartments. Food is delicious and prices are not bad. Pet friendly, accept dogs which is awesome.

RomaniaA little bit far from restaurants and shops. Although the Ecosuites are adult only (this being one of the main reasons we selected this hotel), they are part of a larger complex that do allow children everywhere including in the Ecosuites swimming pool which is few steps away from the hotel rooms. Unfortunately, we experienced this as a problem.
The room was very large, clean and modern. We also appreciated the design as well the fact that the hotel was built using eco materials. The hotel is located in a natural environment, just few steps away from the beach. Friendly staff willing to help.

United StatesIt is obvious that great attention has been paid to all aspects of the hotel's design. The staff were gracious and kind, especially the barman at the poolside bar. Highly recommend it. And be sure to visit their taverna, the food was some of the best I had in Halkidiki.

SerbiaEverything was perfect
OMG we had such a nice time here. Everything was perfect, from the location to the staff and breakfast and dinner. The design of the apartments (and of the whole property) is amazing, very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful nature, the pools are excellent but the beach is just 50m away too! We had a feeling like we discovered a small oasis in the middle of nowhere and that was just what we were looking for!

NetherlandsKeep in mind that although the ecosuites are adult only, they are part of a larger complex that do allow children. We did not experience this as a problem, but we could imagine others might do.
The rooms are nicely designed with the use of natural materials and colors. A comfortable bed and shower. A very nice swimming pool that the swallows use when it is quiet. The staff is very friendly and is always there to support. We unfortunately had an accident and the staff was so kind to bring our breakfast to the room and carry our stuff every time we needed it. We decided to extent our stay with 2 more days to continue enjoy this area. We are traveling with the two of us and enjoy secluded areas and ‘wild’ nature. The perfect location to go to Porto Koufo for the best fish in town, to visit the raw south of Sithonia, to hike up a mountain and find empty beaches. And of course to enjoy some cocktails at Ethnik during the sunset.

United KingdomThe hotel was advertised as an adult only resort. On arrival we quickly realised it is adjoined to two family apartment blocks. So lots of young kids, in the pool, restaurant etc. As you can imagine as a couple holiday we booked solely because it was adult only. To find out it was in fact using the same facilities as families was very disappointing. Turned out we were not the only people to complain but on contact with the hotel management they have refused to offer any compensation. The adult only description in booking.com and the hotel website was changed only after our booking and arrival at the hotel So overall very disappointing and to be honest duplicitous of the hotel. No compensation received and I would absolutely not recommend it for a couple's holiday
Good room, modern and clean

Germany- unfortunately breakfast was pretty aweful: quality of the food itself could have been better, the eggs were standing there the whole morning and were super dry - being pregnant (also visibly) I have to be very careful with these things and asked wether I could have some fresh scrambled eggs instead of the omelette they had on that day as the only option (which made me gag the first time I had it) and it was denied - I think having a good breakfast is an easy thing and not such an effort for the hotel but it makes a bit difference for the guests - my partner actually joked and said it was more like a punishment let’s get it over with. - no hand sanitizers at breakfast (at least I couldn’t see any) - covid isn’t over yet and especially at buffets it gives you a better feeling - somehow you had the feeling they were trying to save money wherever they could not only breakfast and hand sanitizers- we only had two coffee capsules on the room for the whole week and were told we have to pay 1,50€ per capsule if we wanted more - serious either it’s complimentary or not, otherwise the big machine is just a waste of space in the small kitchen - as I said sometimes it’s the little details that make the difference.
- very spacious and nicely designed apartment, very clean - great beach super easy to get to (300 meters walking)

Italy1. The price is too expensive for what it is offered. (200 euros per night in June). 2. There are too many kids even though on the policy of the “eco suites” it says “no children allowed” 3. There are just two nespresso capsules and if you want more you will have to pay for it. 4. Some of the towels were ripped or stained. 5. We left a dish dirty and it was not cleaned by the house keeping. 6. The private beach is really good however there were too many kids shouting and playing to enjoy it. Overall, all these negatives things would have been fine, if the price hadn’t been so expensive.
The room was amazing! It was really stylish and the staff was all very kind and helpful. Breakfast was really good.
