Nothing for us . We didn’t need a car . However to explore you will . Other tavernas and shops are located other side of main road . You will need to go thru an underpass . Although just a 5/10 min walk . Not suitable if you have difficulty walking .

Where to start !!! Fabulous. . Eleven is a small unit-of, bespoke suites . We stayed in room 15 . Upstairs, overlooking the gorgeous pool and beach . Suite is very well appointed. Very spacious and contemporary. Also very comfortable. Suite was cleaned every day should you wish . The pool was my favourite. Very quiet. Beautiful. Eleven Taverna . On the beach . Again Fabulous!!! We ate there 5 times on our stay of eleven nights . Large !! Portions . . Food so fresh . Watch your waist line . Beach is pebble . Sun loungers also . Lovely. A complete package. You would struggle to find such a place else where . Last but not least . George . His family and team are Exceptional ❤️

Just to be clear, all the following were things we were aware of before booking, however they should be mentioned: the beach is very rocky, at least if you want to go i the water, so shoes are essential and in my opinion it is not suitable for children. There is a rather big street directly behind the hotel, you hear the cars if the window is open or if you are on the balcony. And lastly, you definitely need a car if you want to do things. There are a few restaurants and supermarkets closeby, but except those there's not much around.

Very comfortable, modern and new hotel. Great Breakfast, which takes place in the restaurant next to the sea. Spacious room und when we we're there it was not crowded at all. We were mostly alone at the pool. Windows are very soundproof, you don't hear anything from outside.

It’s about an hour from the main port in Crete, but the drive isn’t too bad!

Eleven is a lovely little hotel in Stavromenos, about 10-15 minutes drive from Rethymno. I loved the pool, spacious room, view from the room, tasty breakfast and the staff. Everything seemed to be new, rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. It is a bit far from everything so car is recommended but this worked great for us as we wanted to spend our vacation in a quiet spot anyway. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Everything about Eleven Boutique Suite was a 10. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, attentive to our needs. The room was spotless clean every day! Fresh towels and exchange of bed linen when needed. Beautiful view of the sea. The beach is a bit rocky so bring water shoes, cause it’s absolutely worth a swim. And when you’re tired of the sand you can dive in the pool which is clean and very modern. The hotel provides beach towels so don’t bother packing if you like travelling light. Breakfast is very good - fresh orange juice and you also have a long list to choose from. But the best part of Eleven is DINNER! Eleven by the Sea - their restaurant - is one of the best we’ve been to - top 3 in Rethymno. The best fried squid - melting in your mouth, beef spare ribs full of flavour, fresh grilled shrimps, fresh mussels, the burger fantastic and huge… and great wine! And again- the view at dinner… beautiful! Thank you very much for having us and being such a great host! We had a lovely holiday!

Excellent location, just 50 feet to the beach with loungers and a fantastic restaurant. Beautiful and spacious apartment, very clean and accommodating. Owners/managers were very kind, we felt like we had vip status our whole time there. Absolutely our best stay on all the islands. Our next trip will be all Crete, and this stay is a big reason for that. Can not love it more!

Everything was perfect. As a flight attendant I’ve been to many hotels and apartments - this one stole my heart. We were in need of a relaxing vacation and got exactly that. A private beach with an amazing restaurant and very kind staff + the pool was amazing and we were always by ourselves. The owner is so kind and helpful, we loved it there and will definitely be back. 10/10.

Breakfast was a bit too expensive for what was offered. The window treatments did not block out the sun, making the room very bright early in the morning.

The hotel was beautiful and modern and located right on the beach. We loved our balcony with beautiful views of the ocean and pool. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant was very good. Clean and comfortable. Some restaurants and a grocery store were within walking distance.

There is nothing not to like here.

Amazing reception, facilities, and food. Most importantly, the owner Georgio is on site everyday and goes above and beyond to find solutions for your needs. In our case, these included: extending our stay by 2 nights by juggling room bookings, opening the restaurant kitchen earlier than usual for our two kids under 6 to be able to eat, and arranging a late check out. The food at the restaurant is excellent and the access to the beach seamless, with the rooms clean, elegant and spacious. Can't recommend enough.

Great service, the hotel was full but it felt very quiet and peaceful. The room is beautifully decorated, super clean and well maintained with attention to details. The owner was very attentive and provided solutions and answers very fast. The faucet in the kitchen broke in the morning, we reported it, and by the time we came back everything was working perfectly. Excellent service. The private beach with the beds and sunshades are free. The pool is quiet and has amazing views. The location was great, walking distance to bus station, restaurant and super market. 15 minutes from Rethymno. I will definitely come back. The food at the restaurant was very tasty.

We've had the best time and can highly recommend Eleven Boutique Suits. The owner and everyone who's working there are super friendly and we felt very welcomed. Our room was very modern, clean and spacious. The pool is a dream and the hotel comes with a private beach, that's never crowded. The restaurant is excellent. We traveled with our 1 year old daughter and everyone was so friendly and lovely.

I had the privilege of staying at this extraordinary hotel, and I must admit it surpassed all my expectations. The hotel boasts an unparalleled level of cleanliness. The attention to detail in maintaining a spotless environment is truly praiseworthy. The pool was very well maintained, with cozy loungers and umbrellas, providing the perfect setting to unwind and relax. The beach, just a stone's throw away, was not cramped, well maintained and offered enough space for each couple/family. The hotel's restaurant offered exceptional value for money. They had a nice selection of dishes that were exquisite. What truly distinguishes this hotel is the extraordinary service, friendliness, provided by the owner and the entire staff.
