How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing to complaint. Wish there were more options on breakfast, they could develop it to make it perfect but it was very good.
Location is great and the property is very new and modern. Host pays attention to details and always there for you if you need something.

This location was as expected and as presented, WONDERFUL! Everything is set up and very well taken care of. The pool was wonderful for the children. The breakfast exceeded my expectations 😃. From the location, you can reach the beach and restaurants in the area in a few minutes. Thank the host!

Only complaints I have are that the parking is super tight and the mattresses are possibly the worst I've ever slept on. It was like sleeping on the floor, I woke up in pain every morning...and I stayed there for a week.
Good location, 5 minute walk to downtown Irakleitsa. Place was nice and quite. Big pool shared by I believe 10 units. Free bfast in the morning. Rooms were stylish and clean. Jenny took care of any problems.

I traveled with a baby boy 1 and half years old , there were no things to do with a baby. That is no problem tho.
I stayed on the second floor , the room was great with huge terrace and one small one. The huge terrace would be very nice if it was covered with some kind of roof. Breakfast was very nice , staff - polite. It would be good to be able to purchase something from the bar , there isnt someone constantly there.

For breakfast, there could have been a few more fruit options as the summer fruits in Greece are great and inexpensive. eg Watermelon, melon, grapes. Although 2-3 slices were given at breakfast there could have been more.
Our stay at Elies was excellent. It is a small place, 10 rooms I think, but it had all the facilities we needed, It was super clean and everyone there was super friendly. The pool is small (15m) but again very clean and with enough sun loungers. The garden areas again were well looked after. We hired a car and they had enough parking behind secure gates. Breakfast was served and although there was not much choice there was enough for us and it was good quality. Our room was on the first floor 203 and it overlooked the pool and had a balcony with couple of chairs and table. The room had mosquito sliding doors that worked well. Great shower and a very comfy bed. The AC worked well and there was a good size fridge, smart TV. The location was very good. Although not on the beach, a five-minute walk takes you to the beach and another 5 minutes into the centre of Iraklitsa with all the restaurants and bars you need. There is a great bakery/sweet/ice cream shop a couple of minutes away. We used that quite a lot.

For a family with little kids, we could have had a bit more ammenities, at least a table and chairs to sit in the room. The upper deck bedroom was definatelly interesting for the kids, but the stairs were too high for them, kind of hazardous, and the lack of hot water in the evenings spoiled our experince a little bit. Nea Iraklitsa beaches for us were no-go, but Ammolofi ones were just 10 min. ride away, which solved it for us.
Overall feel of the property was fantastics, just like in the pictures. You can tell that the owners are taking good care with lots of nice touches in the details: excellent desing and vibe outside, great pool, very well decorated rooms, overall feel is for luxury. Breakfast was awlays very different and interesting, which made the mornings exciting.

sound isolation is not so good: we had above us a family with children, it was noisy late night and early morning the pool is beautiful but not very big, so if the place gets busy, it's less enjoyable no lamp above the bathroom mirror, so the lighting in the bathroom was not optimal for this kind of pricing, only pool activities is accessible, no bicycles, or other activity. limited access to local information

The floors weren’t cleaned properly, having a child that sits and plays on the floor, that is one of the most important things to have in a room. Also hot water wasn’t available after a certain time, it made it difficult to wash the baby before sleep with barely warm water. Internet could be better.
Loved the property, it’s also quiet and secluded. Clean pool and clean grounds inside the property.
