Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LithuaniaThe only confusing thing was information about pools zone for adults, which I was informed about in the welcome message, but actually it was not open yet and staff seamed confused when I was asking them about it
Enagron is a perfect place for people looking for a calm place in the nature to rest, swim in the pool, read a book, observe birds and join an activity or two 😊 I've had the pleasure to participate in mezze cooking workshop, as well as going on a farm tour to brush donkeys, which I've enjoyed a lot! the infinity pool is quite big, and deep, with a pool bar next to it 😊

DenmarkThe cleaning can be improved as the ladies only fix the beds and take out trash. But as I am allergic to dust, I had some severe allergy reaction.
Enagron was a peaceful retreat for my family. It's very quiet and beautiful and the activities they offer are enough to keep families busy, specially if you have small children. The room was everything you need.. there is no luxury and you should not expect it but everything is comfortable and you don't need to go out to do anything. The staff is also very kind and helpful. We also loved to have a small kitchen in the room and being able to bring breakfast to the room was really nice as well!

The hotel was in a lovely location, staff were excellent and the room, pool and everything else was fantastic! The cooking class was great fun and very informative. The restaurant was excellent, using home grown and local produce. We were delayed by one night due to problems with our flight and they even refunded us for one night without us asking. Couldn’t have asked for more, I will definitely return!

LithuaniaThe hotel is unique, it is a combination of rural tourism, historical Crete and lavish hotel advantages. Rooms very well equipped and spacious, had 2 balconies, and style vintage – like historical Crete, we liked that a lot, also included everyday room service. Despite the hotel having many apartments, it is cozy place, and astonishing calmness at night! The pool is very clean and with fascinating infinity view to valley, by the pool is bar offering drinks/snacks by it. Really enjoyed resting by it. Hotel’s restaurant is offering astonishing breakfast with plenty of choices, lunch, dinner is serving Cretan local cuisine, there is also music evenings. So we had no need to look for other places to eat! Hotel from our side earned separate gratitude and fascination for hotels offered entertainment and activities: we tried free bikes riding in mountains, free excursion to their own farm with cows, donkeys, sheep, goats, we had opportunity to stroke them, also tried to milk a goat 😊 Our daughter even had a ride with donkey! Perfect place for adults, and for families with children indeed. As we stayed only for 3 nights, so not all activities were tried regretfully 😊 Personnel at reception and restaurant was very attentive, helpful, fast to assist and we felt surrounded with sincerest hospitality while being here. The best place to feel Crete! Sincerest recommendations!

The food was outstanding. The rooms were spacious and quirky (right up our street) and the view from the pool was amazing. We did a morning cookery course as well where we picked vegetables from the garden and cooked a sumptuous lunch with the owners daughter-in-law. Truly wonderful stay

FranceNothing negative, just a few suggestions ! Perhaps some more inside entertainment/ activities could be interesting especially when it is very hot. Not a lot of activities for teens but they loved the nature. It would be nice to have some more local food products at the store.
The village is beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed 4 days and wished we had stayed more. Pool view is breathtaking. Restaurant was great quality, variety and good price, we took every dinner there and good snacks by the pool. Best meals during our stay in Crete. Binoculars provided at reception were very useful. Unfortunately it was too hot to do any of the activities organized by the village but they seemed nice. Appartement was very pretty and a good size for 2 adults and 2 teens. I was worried about the roads to access the village but it was fine. Personnel was very nice and spoke several languages. Good massage with George. Mixed population of tourists so a nice change from the beach hotels. Nice to hear people speaking Greek !

PolandAn incredible place where you can experience the true essence of life on Crete. We were provided with a stunning apartment, tastefully decorated and featuring incredibly comfortable beds. Despite the hotel being fully booked, there was always space available by the pool, which is quite big and has a cool view on the mountains. The restaurant offered an incredibly rich and tasty breakfast and a decent selection for lunch and dinner. The prices were also ok. There are different attractions available every day. some of them are free of charge, some not. I highly recommend the Meze Cooking experience with a delightful guide – we learned to cook few Greek dishes and connected with an international guests. Whether you're traveling with children or on a couples' getaway, you'll feel like you're in paradise :-)

Being in Enagron brought us back to the qualities of life: enjoying the gifts of nature: picking fruit and vegetables, and enjoying being alive: cooking together and having lunch as a big international family. A cool dive in the beautiful infinity pool at day and a good rest on comfortable beds at night. Why ask for more? Thank you Enagron!

MaltaThe drive to get there is a bit long and winding, be prepared! :) The kitchenette was a bit small and basic, so not ideal if you plan to cook elaborate meals yourself. The restaurant was OK, although some plates we received were cold ...
Such an amazing place, a wonderful little village surrounded by greenery, with eagles and vultures circling overhead! Amazing infinity pool, friendly staff and lots of activities to do. Great breakfast buffet! We had a great little apartment with a terrace and two bath rooms, very cosy and comfy.

RomaniaI loved everything.
The property is located 1 h drive from Heraklion in an amazing mountain landscape. We loved the architecture of the entire compound, the small vilas, the olive oil museum, the dining area. The place has a lot o history to tell being as well an important surce of information about cretan culture and food. We really loved: -the infinity pool opening an astouning view of the mountains (the water is really warm and refreshing after a long day hiking in the cretan sun) - the food (with property or local ingredients). The cooking class is a must (fun for both children and adults). - there is a pannel in front of the reception with daily activities you could do in the area in the company of the staff - the accomodation units are cool and relaxing, beds are comfortable and cosy - Beside the property activities a must do in the area are: Sfentoni Cave (11 min drive), Margarites village with colorful ceramics (42 min drive), Cretanthos park and olive museum (35 min drive) where is a 2800 years old olive tree, the snail farm and fun (49 min drive) realy fun.

NetherlandsThe opportunities for walks of moderatie length starting at Enagron 'village' are limited.
The staff was very service oriented and helpful. Because we were in the low season we even got the opportunity to choose between different apartments. Breakfast and the restaurant are great. We were happy we could get a lovely lunch or dinner without having te take the car. The area is rural and very quiet. This is a paradise for nature lovers. If you like tourist attractions and entertainment then this is certainly not the place for you, but all the more for those seeking tranquility and are happy to meet people with the same attitude.
