GreeceUpon arrival we found that the refrigerator was set to ''off'' with the door open and without even two small bottles of water inside as a welcome! I called the reception and the clerk replied that it is the hotel policy not to provide anything for free and if I want I can go back to the entrance (different building) and buy some. And so I did! Then I went for a short swim in the pool, but unfortunately when I ordered another small bottle of water from the bar, they politely asked me to pay for it at that time. I had no money with me and I told them to charge it in my room. Finally, during the check out, although I asked for it, we were not charged anything for the 4 bottles of water we had consumed. During the three days we stayed, the toilet basket was never emptied, although every day all the bath towels were changed! Also shortly after 24:00 some of the exterior lights go out (obviously for energy saving), but those on the stairs leading to the apartments should be left on. It is unacceptable to use the flash ligtht of our mobile phones to access the room! Also, for anyone interested it is pointed out (as the hotel also states) that there is no wifi connection in the rooms, except in the common areas of the reception. However, the signal of mobile telephony for data use in the area is good (4G).
The hotel is located in an area full of trees, with the possibility of a walk for anyone who likes. The calm and serenity of a morning on the balcony of the room relaxes you from the stress of the city. The breakfast is satisfactory, but not something special. An effort is made by the staff to comply with the security measures against covid-19. The pool area is beautiful and is open from 11:00 until 20:00 in summer.

BulgariaOn arrival my credit card had been charged in full already. This would have been in breach of the cancellation/no show clause (50%) of the booking. It appeared that the hotel was out of season at the end of April. With only a few rooms occupied, the place was lifeless, with an eerie sense of emptiness. The receptionist - who turned out to be the only hotel staff on duty - was nowhere to be seen on arrival, so we had to search the premises for someone to check us in. The restaurant was not working, so the only way to get food was to walk down to the village or drive to nearby Ano Poroia. The Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms; the receptionist could not fix the problem.
Secluded and quiet location outside the village of Kato Poroia at the foot of the Belles mountain. The rooms are in terraced houses in a very well maintained park (manicured lawns, paved driveways) overlooking the restaurant building. Room 14 is spacious and minimalist (or spartan, if you prefer).

GreeceLess comfortable thing about the hotel was the fact that we were expecting jacuzzi bath was working! Information on Booking is that they have jacuzzi bath,but it is not written IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!! Second thing is we were in October and we didn't have any kind of heat 😕 in the room! We had to go in the bad right after bath so not to be cold! The size of the room was big so one small fridge in each room could be nice touch!!!
The hotel is great,clean,great nature around and very polite stuff!! Very good and tasty food with possibility of room service if you like!!!

BulgariaIt was very cold in the rooms at arrival (15C). The receptionist put the feeding on, but as it’s air conditioning it took hours to go to a normal temperature. We could not sleep because of the high noise of the air conditioning. It was cold in the hotel lobby and restaurant too. There was no internet connection in the room, as well as very low network coverage. Average comfort of the beds.
Beautiful place and nice rustic design of the hotel and the rooms. Rooms are spacious and cosy. Breakfast is quite nice with local products.

Greecethe staff was rude. the room dirty. they advirtise that they have a spa bath but it doesnt work(for years as they told us at the end) no towels, no kitchen utensils. no hot water. not even batteries for the tv remote control.i really dont understand why they charge 100e this room

RomaniaEven though the location is remote, uphill, in a lovely forest, there is a LOT of noise from the chiller units. Petty! Only one member of the stuff speaks English. Buffet breakfast varied enough but the worst coffee I've ever tasted!
