Even if there is a 4 star hotel some services are not prezent. For example there are no bathrobes and slippers in the room. But this is not a deal breaker. At least not for us.

The location is at 10 min walking distance to the nearest village, but also because of that, the area where the hotel is located is very silent. The room was a little bit bigger then I expected. The balcony was great and quite big with a view over the garden, pool and the sea. The bathroom quite nice, only downside was the shower drain which does not work quite properly and some water collects in the shower cabin. I think because of that some water leaked around the shower. But the cleaning was made daily (sometimes while we were taking the breakfast). The breakfast was quite good and you've got several good choices. Also they would alternate several items from the breakfast. The pool is nice with all those palm trees around, sun beds and the bar at the pool which is open up until 22:00. All the stuff we interact with was very helpful and respectful. You can also rent cars from the hotel which is big plus. P.S. The dark hair lady from the dinning area is wonderful. Always welcoming you with a smile. It's nice to interact with a person like her first thing in the morning. P.S.2 It was the best booking out of 3, from our 3 weeks stay in Crete. We will definitely return to stay here if we have the chance.

We booked half board. I think all other guests were all-inclusive. So the drinks are local spirits with no option to buy premium brands.

The hotel is good, staff excellent! Only stay one night as travelling across Crete. Lovely room, clean and spacious. Food is good and included in our booking. Location is at the top of a small cliff, so no beach. But pool is big.

Didn't find anything I didn't like.

Very clean rooms. Didn't matter that the interior design was a little older. Friendly and helpful hotel workers. No outside odors. You can hear the sea and it is calm. Beautifuly constricted outdoor area with pool, palm trees. You can rent a car on the spot.

The impressions we had from the meetings and that the hotel being marked as beachfront, is that there’s a beach in front of the hotel but it turned out this wasn’t the case, so we had to travel everyday to somewhere with a decent beach which was quite uncomfortable. The breakfast choice was rather poor, and the drinks offered in the pool bar didn’t have much variety of drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and were low quality.

We really enjoyed the view from our balcony and the room was amazing. The cleaning staff was really putting a lot of effort to clean up our room and was exceptionally fast without sacrificing any of the quality. Staff was really, really friendly and welcoming! They even let us stay longer in the restaurant after the breakfast times were over (the restaurant was open only during specific times). The swimming pool was great and exceptionally clean.

- The quality of the food was not up to standard of a 4-star hotel. - There was a lack of English-speaking staff in the restaurant. - There were no signs on the buffet, which made it difficult to understand what was being served. - The cleanliness was not outstanding. For example, our balcony was not vacuumed, dirty glasses were not replaced, and the floor was often left with hair and dust.

On our second week of stay, we got a new housekeeper who wasn't really up to the task. No private beach at the hotel but the location is not far from great beach spots. .

The Europa resort hotel has a beautiful sea view and wonderful garden. Our room has a balcony and a beautiful view of the sea too. The hotel is not far from the village of Panormos with excellent restaurants and traditional cuisine. The guy at the reception (the hotelier) was very friendly.

I would have expected more traditional foods. No new shampoo bottles in a week of stay. Bar schedule was off, opening later than advertised and ofter waiting a lot for someone to come and serve you.

Nice selection of drinks and foods. The bar had only local beverages but were pretty good. Awesome view from the balcony. Nice pool, cleaned every two days.

Very difficult to find a hotel if you drive via regular navigation especially at night. Just a proposal for the hotel to add some banners on the small village road with mentioning the direction.

Nothing, as my experience is excellent. The family rooms at the ground floor seems have not been renovated, but you need to ask the hotel to confirm this.

it s a very nice hotel where the ground is maintained well and sea view could be enjoyed at every corner/level of the hotel. We were very comfortable with the hotel as our superior double room has been fully renovated and the ratio of the size of the hotel versus the number of the guests are higher. This means could enjoy the hotel's facilities, such as sun bed or pool, without feeling overcrowded or having a quite time at one of hotel's terraces. We had an issue during the dinner times, but the manager sorted out this immediately. Our staying included all meals and the meal selections were not as diverse as those from all inclusive big hotel, but the selections are sufficient for us. I think most lunch and dinner meals were Greeks, which we prefer as we are on holiday on this island, so we are happy with the meals. The hotel location is very convenient if you have a car, as you can explore more the island to the beaches in the south or the those in the West of the island such as Chania's region. We did not explore much the east of the island except for Elounda, which is very pretty. Closed to the hotel, there is a nice beach called Geropotamos Beach, that less than 5 minutes by the car, easy to find a parking space and not overcrowded.
