This is the best studio I have been to in Greece by far. My aunt and I felt right at home: every morning (and every now and then in the afternoon) Stavros knocked on the door to bring us the delicacies prepared by his wife Eythimia, one better than the other. The studio was cleaned to perfection every day and the towels and sheets were changed every two days. On the first day Stavros came to pick us up at the airport and helped us with the luggage and as soon as we arrived we found the fridge with many things for breakfast and Stavros brought us a welcome tray with water, rakomelo (raki + honey) and glikò koutalioù (fruit in syrup). Stunning location, excellent view of the chora and above all the best owners I have ever met not only in Greece, but everywhere till now. What can I say? The best studio I have ever found since traveling to Greece! Χάρηκα πολύ που σας γνώρισα, Ευθυμία και Σταύρο!

I can't imagine staying anywhere else on the island. If you're reading this review, stop looking at other options and book the Butterfly House! Euthimia & Stavros are some of the best hosts we have ever had, and we have traveled all over Greece. The apartment is welcoming and comfortable and very clean. The view is to die for and it's incredibly peaceful. The location looks at the best side of Chora and is walkable if you really want to. Euthimia & Stavros could not have been more kind & helpful - just to name a few special things - they picked us up & took us to the airport, took us to their favorite beaches, found us a rental car, brought us fresh homemade breakfast every morning (and a welcome drink & snack), let us check into the room extremely early (8am!) so we could sleep after our morning arrival, recommended favorite local restaurants, added additional adapters to the wall outlet by the bed when they saw we filled the existing ones....I mean come on...you cannot beat that kind of hospitality. The care here is unmatched. Really really incredible. Book this room!!!

Nothing. The smell we mentionned in earlier review was gone. There was a technicsl problem. Now we just could smell the flowers outside!

The apartment is sparkly clean and cozy, with everything you need for your stay. It is very quiet and perfect to relax. The terrace has an amazing view on Chora but the best part are the owners that everyday clean your room and prepare for you an amazing breakfast. We had everyday something different to try. It has been amazing, we were very sad to depart. Thank you so much!

Efthimia is the best hostess I've ever had when travelling and her cakes are second to none! This was a wonderful holiday house with every amenity and it was perfectly clean. The balcony had gorgeous views towards the castle and hora and we were surrounded by plants and flowers. Easy access via steps down to the port and shops or you can walk along the road to the hora with no problems. The Astybus ride share service also has a nearby stop. Thank you for an exceptional stay, we will return 100%.

I already had high expectations for our stay at Butterfly View House, but reality was far beyond what we could dream of. This is by far the best studio I have ever stayed in years of island hopping in Greece. The terrace, boasting superb views on the Chora, is surrounded by a luxurious garden: a peaceful corner of paradise and a real joy to the eye! The apartment is spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping. The bed is super comfy, the kitchenette well equipped. But what really made the experience unique was our hosts' hospitality. It felt like they really welcomed us into the family. They looked after us with care and selflessness. They could speak only little English, but hospitality is truly a universal language and we had the best of stays. They spoiled us rotten with freshly made pastries every morning and even invited us over to a family feast one of the evenings. An experience we will never forget. We couldn't recommend this place enough. Stavros and Euthimia, ευχαριστώ πολύ!

Nothing, it was perfect :)

Absolutely wonderful stay! We spent a week here and loved every single minute. The property has the most incredible view over the Chora and is in a great location close to everything you want to do in town. The hosts were incredibly kind bringing us fresh homemade pastries every morning and always being available to help. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in and was very spacious. Such a special gem of a property on a very special island. I can’t wait to come back!

One of the best studios I stayed in Greece. The hosts were very kind with us keeping our bags and letting us making a shower the last day ( we had to return to KOS with the ferry at night). Every morning they brought us a fresh cake just cooked. Lovely !

Beautiful, clean and well furnished apartment with a big comfy bed and private terrace with a great view of Astypalea town. The hosts provided exceptional hospitality accommodating us for a last minute booking/check-in as we’d missed our ferry. They kindly gave us a lift to the restaurant for an evening meal and took us to catch the next available ferry the following day. As well as providing a well-stocked fridge with the essentials they also delivered delicious warm pastries to our balcony in the morning to have along with our coffee. Amazing stay - would recommend !!

It was hands down the best place I have ever stayed. Mrs Euthumia and Mr Stavros were generous, hospitable, kind and discreet hosts. She would bring us different freshly baked goodies daily, orange pie, banana bread, traditional cheese pies etc. The house was spotlessly clean every single day, the decoration was traditional and tasteful. The balcony view was breathtaking. Also the facilities made a great impression to us. Toast maker, cutlery and plates for 4 people, iron, big wardrobes, laundry basket, oven and microwave, there was even a professional hairdryer. Not to mention that the fridge was full of goodies for breakfast ( homemade marmalade, butter, milk etc) free of charge on our arrival. Finally, the location is very convenient and parking space was always available. Overall my impression is excellent and I highly recommend the place.

Wonderful spacious villa, beautifully & tastefully decorated. Euthimia & her husband are delightful hosts and brought me homemade treats every day! A very pleasant 10min walk into town, many tavernas, supermarkets & shops. Great view of the Venetian castle.

Everything was perfect! The studio was even better than the photos and it exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The studio is well equipped and beautifully decorated!! Our private patio had a wonderful view of the castle and Chora. The hosts were so kind and helpful and every morning they brought us a delicious treat. We really enjoyed our time there!!
