Just minor flaw- The shower without door

The hotel itself is very charming, beautiful design, nice patio/breakfast space, perfect location. Very attentive hosts/ staff. Especially the handsome man who guessed all of our needs- coffee, ice for wine etc. It's quite rare that you don't need to ask for everything yourself. Fabulous.

Our stay was excellent at Familia. Very well renovated hotel, extremely kind and helpful staff and a very good breakfast as well. They even made a small pre-breakfast just for us as we had an early 6am checkout. Plenty of parking space just outside. I would definitely come again!

It is located adjacent to a car park with a walk of 100 metres or so to the sea front . It is a very quaint building being re constructed in a modern method from an old olive oil crushing factory with many retained pieces of the original building and machinery. There is a well shaded eating area for the supplied breakfast.

Oh my, where to begin! Family-run Familia Hotel totally exceeded our expectations.. Initially we booked our stay for 2 nights, but we ended staying for an extra third night because we just did not want to move our base in Ithaka. Shortly: we felt extremely welcomed from the first minute, had the best sleep during our 2 weeks Kefallonia + Ithaka trip in Familia Hotel + also the location is perfect, the breakfast very fresh and variable, all the staff are absolutely genuine, friendly and humble. Our warmest recommendations and greetings to Familia Hotel, thank you SO much Chrtistina and Co! Hopefully we will have the chance to visit again soon!

No complaints whatsoever!!

I enjoyed my short stay at the Familia Hotel very much. It's in a great location, located in the centre of Vathi very close to the many shops, restaurants and cafés in the area. The rooms are very comfortable, convenient, clean and well-appointed, and the breakfast provided was excellent and of top quality. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were very forthcoming, welcoming and helpful. I had a great stay!

Ancient oil mill converted to a beautiful and conformable hotel. The decor is lovely, the location is super convenient and the hosts Eleni and Danae are so kind and helpful. very recommended!

Super warm and helpful staff, who advised us on our travels and who accommodated a last minute change in dates. Stylish hotel decor, unique building, and comfortable bed. We slept really well. Breakfast also fantastic, freshly made and varied by day. We loved it here and hope to be back.

"Attic" windows doesn't bring so much natural light in to the room. A little bit overpriced.

The location very good. In the center of Vathi No fuss. The space and the decoration are wonderful The breakfast is very nice with fantastic handmade apple pie and leekpie that you should definitely try. Everyone at the property is very kind and helpful.

Ms. Cristina, the owner, made us feel welcomed and she was very helpful in giving us all the information we needed. Her breakfast was delicious and plentiful with the best homemade sweets and pies we had ever tasted. The hotel is clean, room very comfortable and the location is perfect. A little bit of paradise, amazing restored olive press with every detail carefully considered... Bed and pillows soooooo comfortable But the the main reason to stay had to be the warm and charming owners and staff. The home made cake for breakfast... and the wonderful and different food just made our stay. Thank you all we will be back.. Denise and Mike
