(neutral (o)) / (negative (-)): (o) Thanasis' kindness was remarkable but on the edge of being a bit too much (o) beware of the see urchins right in front of the sea access, you need to bring appropriate (swimming) shoes otherwise it might get a bit painful (-) too many surveillance cams on the property (which are pointing on the terrace, the garden and the bathroom) -> even though the cams weren't active all the time it makes it very uncomfortable and it seems unnecessary as long as people are living there; it would be enough having surveillance cams at the front gate and the sea access (-) the kitchen is not as equipped as it appears at first (e.g. no dishwasher, no proper oven) (-) too many lights in the middle of the garden which are very much in the way when you play some badminton or else

Nothing I could think off and do not believe there is anything someone could find.

This is an absolutely amazing villa (great design, high quality materials used for building it up…. increased attention to small details and accessories that make it feel very hommy, cosy and confortable). It can be seen and felt that this was designed with great passion. The backyard however makes it even more special - and this is actually better than in this pictures as the plants that Mr. Thanasses has rigourously and passionately planted himself have grown and additional delicate accessories have come into place (different sunbeds in several key locations of the garden so that you can benefit from maximum intimacy while enjoying breathtaking views). The owner’s kindness who made us feel spoiled through our entire stay: welcoming us with few bottles of local traditional wine, a bottle of champagne and big baskets of fruits (the kids loved it after such a long drive). During our stay he kept on surprising us with watermelons, small presents for the kids, sweets, etc. Last but not least the beach that is just walking distance (in front of the Teatro Traverna) and the great hospitality that we were taken care by Angela and her family during the entire vacation. It as soo good that we stayed there almost every single day! I would highly recommend it, especially the fresh fish and the deserts (always from the house).

Everthing was great, just a tip: - some games like backgammon, chest or monopolie for rainy days - vacuum cleaner for clean up during our stay We loved it and will go back.

Wine, fruit, sweets, ouzo etc everything is ready for great stay - a lot of space, very comfortable - perfect beds, sleeps great - perfect stay for big family, but still some privacy since there are 3 different units. - beautiful garden. Unfortunately we had a lot of wind and 2 days of rain. So we could not enjoy it.

Our stay at Villa Filoxenia was excellent. The estate is beautiful and has more utilities than you could possibly ask for, the breakfast was more than adequate and the sea is spectacular. The host Athanasios is very kind and always available. I will revisit soon for sure! I recommend this place without a doubt!

We spent 7 wonderful days at Oikia Filoxenia. The villa was more than we expected from our holiday home. We had a great time and everything around the accommodation was flawless. Many thanks to our super host, we’ll definitely recommend the villa to all our friends/ acquaintances.

For such a high end villa, disappointing that there was no dishwasher or an oven. Given that there was no barbeque due to the high fire risks, which we understand, there was only the option of stove top or microwave. The parking that is available is not super close to the villa - would not be a problem but when travelling with very old parents, this is not ideal. Direct access to the sea suitable only for younger, fitter family members. The internet was terrible, again high end expect better. Some of the outside "wicker type" furniture is definitely in need of renovation.

The location and grounds are perfect. The airconditioning was great and essential in the heatwave conditions. The finishes inside the property are very high end and the beds super comfortable. Loved the chair swing in the garden!
