Filoxenia is a lovely place situated about (a pleasant) twenty minutes walk from Zakynthos town and about 3km from the Airport. The countryside setting is very peaceful with nice views. The room was spacious, comfortable with all amenities and was cleaned daily. Nikos, the manager, was extremely helpful, courteous and knowledgeable and contributed greatly to a most enjoyable stress-free week

NOT A NEGATIVE AT ALL BUT THIS PLACE WOULD BE EVEN BETTER IF IT HAD A POOL OR HOT TUBS FOR THE RELLY HOT MONTHS IN THE SEASON

LOVELY SPACEOUS ROOMS, GREAT SHOWER, VERY COMFY BED, GOOD SIZE BALCONY, ROOM WAS CLEANED EVERYDAY. IT WAS GOOD THAT THEY DIDNT CHARGE EXTRA FOR HEATING/ AIR-CONDITIONING (HOWEVER NOT NEEDED IN APRIL BUT WILL BE NEEDED IN THE SUMMER MONTHS). PLENTY OF ROOM FOR CAR PARKING ALSO :)

Noisy nature throughout the night, dogs, cockerels. Keeping windows and doors closed, and A.C. on drowned out the cacophony. Bedside lights suitable for reading would be a bonus.

Staff and service were excellent. The place was clean, with daily room service. Pleasent mountain views. The apartment complex has character. Niko, the manager was exceptionally helpful. Renting a car is advised as Filoxenia is on the outskirts of Zakynthos.

Everything was great. There was nothing I didn't like.

Niko is very friendly and helpful. Made me comfortable. Room had a big bottle water in it ready for me as can't drink tap water. Key handover very simple. Cleaning services were great, towels changed. Room had hob, fridge, made it easy to stay and cook and relax. You can wash clothes by hand in a basin which is helpful too. The gardens and grounds of the apartments are absolutely lovely - relaxing, beautiful. One of the most attractive places I saw on the island.

Not enough light in the bathroom.

Very nice and cozy apartment with a beautiful garden and a spacious parking lot. Minutes away from the Port of Zakynthos. Very economical. Excellent customer service. Nikos was an amazing host. Highly recommended.

Filoxenia is located near the Zakynthos town but away from the busyness of it. Room was equipped with everything that you’d need as it was more of a small studio flat with kitchenette than a hotel room. Property has a spacious garden with plenty of seatings, good size parking, grill area and shower to clean sand from the beach. Host is very helpful and recommends amazing restaurants. He’s also able to help you organise excursions and rent a car. I wholeheartedly recommend stay here.

We weren’t there long enough to see anything

Booked a room for 3 adults at 10.30 at night after flight cancelled. Nikos contacted us via WhatsApp within 5 mins asking for our arrival time and was there to welcome us 20 mins later. He went over and above for us as after a 10 hour flight delay and then a cancellation we needed some rest and a beer to chill out. The apartment with two rooms, 2 bathrooms and 5 beds and as comfortable, clean and more than we expected for such a reasonable price. He also gave us 4 cold beers and even got me a bag of ice for a twisted ankle that had happened just before arrival. The outside areas are beautiful in a zen, chill out and quiet way…. Lots of comfy seating areas, lovely flowers and plants and lots of friendly cats. Location is about 2m from airport, 20 min walk from zante town and port and is a little bit out of the way. Great if you want a base to explore from …. Or need a hotel for the night after a cancelled flight. Would recommend this place Ps no bars or restaurants very close by.

Great host! Great apartment, very clean, housekeeping was cleaning everyday and changed our sheets and towels! The host also assisted us with finding restaurants, nice beaches and arranging boat trip around the island.

The host, Nikos, was amazing! Filoxenia has paramount contacts with car rental companies. More so, the only description I can make is that the location is non sparse from beautiful.

Its a little out of town so if you are particular about what kind of cars or vehicle to rent, you won’t be able to get your pick. But we rented from a very nice place Nikos set up for us.

The place was just like the photos or better! Nikos was very helpful in showing the best spots on the island and recommended some very good restaurants. The cleaning ladies were so sweet and came in everyday to clean.

A lovely apartment which is only 10 minutes drive from the city centre. The host Nikos, met us during our arrival and explain everything to us. He was so polite and so willing to offer all kind of information we needed. The room itself (Number 6) was confy, with a double big bedroom and a single as well. a small Kitchen with more or less everything you need in order to prepare some small meals. The air-con works well and it has a lovely balcony. The garden is so peaceful and beautiful.

Only bad thing is the water is salty. Makes showering , brushing teeth , cleankng food a little difficult.

Shower is a bit small and you have to hold the showerhead yourself. Despite that it is very nice and clean.

Spacious appartments and gorgeous oasis spread all acros the garden. Very nice staff and Nikos was always very helpful with either suggestions and recommendations. Great place to stay if in Zante.

Nikos was a wonderful host, and the studio was the best we stayed at during our holiday in Greece! Everything was immaculately clean and modern, and the beds were very comfortable. Studio has everything you could possibly need and a nice court yard to drink coffee and read. They have a shuttle from the airport for a small fee which I would highly recommend. The location is cool because it's a short walk to the city centre but you have a quiet surroundings at night. Lots of cute kitties. Don't hesitate to book here when visiting Zakynthos. Thanks Nikos for everything!

Noisy neighbors.

The property is well organised, the garden is beautiful especially during the night. You have everything that you need in your studio, that is being cleaned every day, also the towels and sheets are being replaced very frequently, every other day if I am not mistaken. The host is friendly, always available and sharing great tips about the island. The place is perfect for calm and relaxing holidays, so if you are looking to party in Zakynthos you should definitely avoid this place. You need a car, otherwise walking distance to the town is 20 minutes, and to the main square with restaurants you need 30 minutes (exactly what google maps say).

Nikos, the host, was brilliant. He organised a car for us and gave so many excellent food and sightseeing recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The apartment was lovely and really well appointed. It was a little walk away from Zakynthos town which made it quiet but was still close enough to get to the port in about 15 minutes and the main square in about 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend staying here
