We really enjoyed our stay here. The lady who owns the apartments is really friendly and kind. She left us some lovely treats including her family's olive oil. The apartment is small but has everything you need to cook a meal, space to relax outside and we even did our remote work from here for a week. The wifi was good as well.

The owner is a friendly lady. She also gave us Crete olive oil as a gift. Many thanks! It's quiet here, parking is easy. The bed is neither soft nor hard, it's suitable. Both the refrigerator and the air-conditioner work well. The shower water pressure is high. But the shower curtain is not waterproof, and when taking a shower, water easily flows to the bathroom floor. Fortunately, there's a mop in the bathroom. There are not many people on the beach nearby. If you like quiet, this is a good place.

Could tell that the host smoked in the home. The actual rooms did not smell like smoke but the main entrance/lobby did.

Host was extremely nice. The rooms have a small kitchenette and everything you need. Overall experience was very pleasant. If you like to support the locals, this is a great place to stay.

Small, family-run complex of apartments with all necessary amenities and a view that's breathtaking. Extremely cheap for all that was offered – at least off-season, prices were outlandishly low. Hosts were heart-warmingly kind, offered us fruits and local products. When we mentioned we could not bring their oil bottle with us due to luggage restrictions, they even tried offering smaller bottles.

lovely host, she brought iced coffee when I arrived, also some yummi small snacks were in the room I felt very welcome, even tho the host couldn't speak lot's of english the view was just amazing, mountains & sea big balcony generally pretty quiet (at least in autumn when I was there) defenitly appreciated that too but would say you need a car, to make the best out of your time there the nearby beaches were super beautiful aswell

This is the best place we stayed at during our trip to Crete. The hospitality of the owner is incredible. It almost seem like you are visiting your family waiting for you with fresh cake. The Apartment was spacious and extra clean. What is breathtaking is the view and Mariou tavern around the corner. We will be back. Thank you!

The shower space was really small and the curtains short so it wasn't really easy to shower and the water was everywhere on the floor.

The apartment was large, very clean and the host waited for us even if we arrived very late in the evening. The view from the terrace was very beautiful and the sky clear to see the stars. The host didn't speak English but we understood everything through the gestures. The big plus is that the apartment was near some very good taverns that the host recommended to try.

Wow!! This is my comment about Galini apartment. We had the best view and welcome of all Crete. The house is nice and clean; the view from the balcony just stunning. The owner, a very kind lady, despite not talking in english, she did everything possible to let us feel at home and she went even beyond by giving us sweets, raki and local oil. The location is strategic and perfect for visiting the south of Crete. Our stay at Galini has been amazing and we'll never forget it

the only minor downside was the 2nd bedroom didn’t have a window to the outside.

the owner was just lovely 🥰 home made cakes and biscuits on arrival. raki and olive oil produced on site. clean and good kitchen equipment to cook in. amazing views - away from the crowds and only 30 minutes walk into town if you felt like it - but ideally suited if you have a car.

Wonderful place. Friendly host, very clean and neat rooms, fantastic view, complimentary cookies, schnapps and olive oil upon arrival and - a washing machine! Great if you travel with kids. We also received a full bag of fresh oranges (we visited in January)!

Amazing view on the sea and olive groves. Fully equipped kitchen. Big balcony. Very friendly host lady though she did not speak English but google translate was there to help. She presented welcome gifts such as homemade raki, cookies, and olive oil. Large parking lot.

Incredibly friendly host. Perfect communication even though she only speaks greek. Great location on the hills overlooking the Libyan sea, a short drive away from Plakias and Preveli. She brought welcome gifts to the room, including her own family's olive oil, cookies, the kitchen was well equipped.

It's too choose to the road so there some noise. But nothing alarming. The common areas are a bit of unwelcoming because there is a smell. But get used to it, and the apartment is very nice and none of that.

Though didn't use any, the apartment was super well equipped in the kitchen including send raw ingredients like olive oil, salt, pepper. It's also the cheapest in the area, so with a car the distance is not an issue. There is a terrace and you watch the stars. TV is also massive.

The view is marvellous. Very comfortable bed, the apartment is big and located 7’ from Plakia. You have everything you need.
