Only one small improvement point to note - sun beds at pool area could do with being updated as some are either damaged or looking a bit dated.

Friendly owner Pete was able to accommodate our early check in request with both rooms being available prior to 1pm. Welcomed with bottles of cold water upon arrival and welcome packs consisting of fresh fruit plus soft drinks & wine as well as local hints & tips on what Kos Town & wider island had to offer. Rooms bright, modern, very clean & well appointed. Pool & bar area run by friendly family who again only had one main aim which was to make everyone’s holiday as enjoyable as possible. Able to have a room until 9:30pm on final day due to very late flight home at no extra cost, taxi transfer to airport also organised via owner. Pete & his team couldn’t do enough to ensure stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We all left with a very good impression.

It was a little further out of Kos Town than we anticipated.

We absolutely loved our stay at Gelli apartments! Pete gave us lots of recommendations of what to do and where to eat in Kos Town to make the most of our stay and really looked after us, he was an amazing host and really good fun! The apartment itself was extremely clean and tidy and the pool and bar area were fab.

Nothing, our stay was perfect. Consider that the place is 15min walk to the city center and other couple of min to the harbour or to the city beach. Bike or any vehicle are highly recommended and can be booked with Pana's help or in Kos town at any rental station.

This is the best place to stay in Kos in case you are planning to explore the island. Panagiotis, the owner of Gelli apartments is the nicest, most passionate and coolest person we have met in Kos. What impressed us the most was the hospitality and that he was always available for his guests and did everything possible to make our stay special. On our arrival he was waiting for us already and welcomed us with bottles of cold water and fresh fruits + local wine in our apartment. He gave us a map of Kos and shared with us daily the best places/beaches/restaurants and hidden gems which we would have never been able to find by our own (Car/Scooter/Quad recommended to explore the beautiful island and Pana's recommendations). The first day we didn't have a car so he gave us a ride and even organised a car for us which was delivered the following day directly to our apartment. We have planned to stay 7 nights in Gelli but as we liked it so much we cancelled our pre booked hotel and prolonged another 4 nights which was the best decision. The apartments are very clean and well equipped, kitchen is a plus, comfy bed, big balcony, AC working properly, huge pool with enough sunbeds and umbrellas, restaurant next to the pool for breakfast/lunch/dinner or the pool bar for some cocktails in the evening with music. Pana's family is always around for some chit chat. Generally quiet place, where you can relax and enjoy Greece nature. The price is abolutely fair and reasonable. A small grocery shop is located near the apartments. So, what do you want more? :-)

Panagiotis, the host was super friendly & helpful. He helped us out with the car + everything else we needed & gave us the best tips to spend an amazing time on the island. The staff overall was just great. The apartments were nice & clean with a cute balcony. Beds were also comfortable. Location was great too with walking distance to Kos Town & beach. You just have everything you need for a fantastic holiday.

Hotel which is a family business is located outside the city center but very close to the city also. Because of the location you can listen to the cicada singing in the silence of the night. It is located on a large land-piece and even though all the rooms were full the resort maintained its peaceful aura. There is a small but exceptional pool bar which is very cozy. All the staff including the owner and executive chief (Mr. Yorgo and Mr. Panagiotis) are warm,gentle and professional. Mr. Panagiotis explained the island on detail by a ‘magic map’ and convinced us to rent a car(we were reluctant at first) and upgraded the quality of our vacation. The room we stayed in was new and very clean. The restaurant has more than enough facilities for both breakfast and dinner. Plus compared to city the prices were affordable. If you are not visiting Kos for a selected beach/ sea holiday and would like to explore island’s various facilities Gelli Apartments are the exact hotel choice.

The owner was always ready to go above and beond for us and so were everyone else there. Hard working and warm hearted people. He arranged check in at 5am for us and made us a snack and got some complimentary wine and fruits as well. Helped us to rent a car and gave us some tips where to go. Even took us to pharmacy at the evening when I felt sick. I can highly recommend this place even tho you need to walk 30min to town or beach but you can always take a taxi.

Had an amazing stay with my girlfriend. Pete and his staff were amazing helping us settle in and suggested areas, beaches and points of interest to explore in Kos. The room were extremely clean and was larger than expected! Only a short 5-10 min walk to the centre of Kos Town which meant we could enjoy the many restaurants and bars on offer in the town centre. Pete also gave us a small welcome and leaving gift which was greatly appreciated. 100% would recommend and will be returning in the near future!

Gelli would, without a doubt would be the best accommodation we have ever stayed in over the past ten years. Our host Pete has the most wonderful interpersonal skills and we enjoyed his company very much. The rest of the family are fabulous and work hard to ensure everyone is having a good time. The bar and restaurant onsite means that guests can chill around the pool area with drinks and food if they do not want to walk into town (an easy walk about 15 - 20 mins). We were sad to leave for a second time but will definitely be working towards returning in the future. OUTSANDING!!!

The rooms were always nice and clean, it really felt like an oasis to relax and find comfort. The pool was amazing and the meals at the pool bar were really affordable. The host was outstanding and very helpful with all the insider local tips and suggestions for a great experience on the island. He also helped with travel arrangements and always went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The garden was nice and peaceful, and we could help ourselves at anytime to the apricot fruit trees. Everything is perfect!! From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by our host Pete. He took the time to explain about the island, what is on offer and all the facilities we could enjoy whilst at Gelli. The bar, restaurant and pool are very popular with all the guests. We have met some lovely people during our stay and everyone is sociable. The family who run Gelli and the accommodation next door are lovely and do everything to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Our apartment was situated at the front of the complex with only one other adjoining us and this was ideal - so quiet. Alina the housekeeping lady looked after us very well ;-) We extended our stay and unfortunately and reluctantly, we must move on. Appartement was fully renovated, very clean and spacious. Including a small kitchen, large two persons bed, amazing balcony and AC. Swimming pool was quite big and not so crowded: enough sun beds with umbrellas. A bar next to the swimming pool which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, beers, drinks and cocktails until the late evening, being a lively social gathering point. Gelli apartments offers its customers everything it can offer; from well places advice about sight seeing, to specific recommendations for restaurants and bars. After arriving, you will become a part of the family that governs these nice apartments and actually feel sad once you have to leave the island of Kos. The hosts will go out of their way to make sure your stay will be amazing and are very helpful every day. Thank you Panagiotis, Steve, George and Costa! If we ever decide to return to Kos, we know where to book our stay.

This family apartment was ideal for us. Big, airy rooms and super cool aircon. Huge double bedroom with a fabulous big balcony and another twin room, perfect for the teenagers. Pete the owner couldn't be more helpful. He even took my daughter and I to the pharmacy when she had a poorly eye. On our arrival there was a lovely dish of fresh grapes and figs grown in their own garden for us - as well as a bottle of local wine. Can't recommend highly enough!
