Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

QatarThere’s nothing I don’t like, I absolutely loved every. I just wish they’d offer all inclusive services like breakfast, lunch and dinner as their food is perfect.
Everything was amazing, the food was great, the staff were so friendly, helpful and very attentive to all of our needs. Like if you need help they will be there literally within a second. The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from the beach which makes it even nicer. There’s also nice bars and restaurants just a walking distance away.

TurkeyStaff at the facility were friendly and helpful. An incredible facility, everything was perfect and clean. Their breakfast was great, I especially liked their special little cakes :) The location was 10 minutes away from everywhere and since it was by the sea, I had the opportunity to walk to all the places. Thank you Glykeria family

The management and location. They were so friendly and helpful. Room was beautifully decorated, it is lacking in natural light but I knew that before booking. There really is no need to be spending too much time in your room there a common area and the bar/ breakfast room which is very light, bright and comfortable with a beautiful beach view.

United KingdomI absolutely loved everything about my stay! I was able to schedule a pickup from the airport and bring me to Glykeria. I was greeted by a dog and given my keys to my beautiful suite. I opted in for the breakfast which was different each day and the beach, which was just footsteps away, was PERFECT. Thank you so much for my stay, I cannot wait to visit again!

United StatesWe love everything about this place. We stayed here last summer in 2022 and loved it so much we came back in 2023. You walk out your rooms and are basically on the beach. It's almost at the end of the line on the beach so there is very little traffic. The rooms are great and the a/c gets ice cold. They serve an amazing breakfast. Honestly the best thing about this place is the owners. They are truly great people. They are there every day and extremely helpful. We will always stay at Glykeria every time we visit Santorini.

United StatesLoved it all!
The Glykeria Mini Suites has everything you need for an exceptional stay on Santorini. Right on the beach (complete with beach beds), breakfast was hearty and complete with authentic Greek food, our room was exceptional: very spacious; fabulous view; and everything you would need and more! The owners are very accommodating and ensure you know what tours, etc., you may want to explore the island. It was hard to leave...

FinlandHonestly, there was nothing to dislike. Being in Greece, surprised how well the internet worked. Could not even complain about that!
End of the season vacation, things were already packed for the winter. Not for everybody, but we loved it. Peaceful and relaxing. This place is beautiful, it did not even bother us that it was windy and no sun in sight. If I return to Santorini, I will definitely stay at Glykeria. Stare at the sea, order a Santorini salad and a glass of white wine.

CanadaMy husband and I stayed here during our time in Santorini. This hotel was one of our favorites from our whole tip. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was on the beach and our room was beautiful and had a beautiful view of the water. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of food served. We rented a car through the hotel and had no trouble getting around the island using that. Definitely recommend!!

Irelandthe walls of the rooms were so thin, we were situated in front of the kitchen, so trying to get a sleeping in after 8am was impossible due the the cooking and cleaning process being loud. As well as people having conversations outside our door in the mornings, we were woken up a handful of times. the restaurant two doors down played extremely loud music on a Friday night and woke us up multiple times, not a fault on the restaurant exactly but it was not comfortable or easy to sleep until around 3:30am after they had finished!
very welcoming, we were greeted with complimentary drinks on arrival, also it’s a family owned place! the location was perfect if you like a quiet and relaxing time and then decide to walk 10mins into a tourist spot of souvenir shops and even more restaurants! the family were a huge help with helping us get around/booking activities and just over all really really lovely. you can tell they care about this place. Rooms were beautiful, even if you do not have a sea view, we spotted one room had a hot tub! and of course these are always cleaned for you (amazing). we paid for breakfast included, which definitely did save us a lot of money as it’s not too cheap around, and got served a variation of eggs/bread/fruit/sandwiches and yogurt with juice and coffee EVERYDAY. definitely worth getting breakfast included. you have an amazing view of the beach and on the outside beach beds we had a complimentary bed for the length of our stay. Absolutely loved staying here! For a couple who are young and working, it was the perfect spot to feel like we can relax and have choices!

United StatesOnly have good things to say about this establishment.
Glykeria Mini Suites ticked all of the boxes for what we look for in a vacation property. It is located on a quiet, unpopulated beach, literally 20 steps from the black sand. The hotel fronts a stretch of pedestrian-friendly road (scant vehicle traffic) dotted with over a dozen quality restaurants, all within a 10-minute walk. Our room was plenty large, recently decorated in shades of white and soft gray, outfitted with a modern glass and tile bathroom, equipped with in-room Wi-Fi, TV and refrigerator, and graced with a roomy balcony overlooking the shore. (Note: The "double" bed is actually what would be called a queen-size bed in the US.) What makes the stay unique is the hospitality of the family who own and operate the hotel. Husband, wife and daughter take an interest in each guest and are warm, attentive, helpful and endearingly gracious and accommodating. After a couple of days, we developed a sentimental attachment to establishment -- not something that normally happens.
