Second time at the Golden Sun. I enjoy the pool and beach below. Comfortable matress on the bed. We stayed in a side view room this time. Equally as Comfortable however if the sea view rooms are available definitely worth the extra for the stunning view. Breakfast is plentiful . Continental. My only gripe is the coffee however you can order from the pool bar. We ate several times in the evening. Nice homecooked food. Snacks , club sandwiches etc available all day by the pool. Overall very relaxing. I would return.

Everything was lovely except that I would have liked my floor a bit cleaner- there was quite a bit of sand still underfoot.. I think this quality of hotel could serve really good coffee and fresh orange juice for breakfast.

The location and outdoor facilities are lovely. The room and bed were really comfortable and I had a nice view of the hill and the sea to the left. The staff very friendly, Excellent cocktails and food.

The breakfast could be better with some more options for cafe. (No cappuccino no instant, only French cafe). But for 2€ per person you really don’t care. I would be happy to pay 4 € or 5 € for some more options. The WiFi in the rooms was not always stable. But eventually I got my emails.

The pool was very good. The water was very clean. The pool was split in two sections and perfect for kids. The hotel had a nice parking and the village near by has all you may need. From the pool you could also go to the beach for swimming and you could also use the seaslongs there. The rooms were basic but clean with TV and WiFi. For the price and the location we were very happy. You also got WiFi by the pool!!

We were in the family room, and it was not very clean, the bathroom was very run down with black mould on the side of the wall and the bottom of the shower curtain was also black all round! It needs updating and better cleaning.

The location is amazing, walking distance to the town centre , the swimming pool and the beach are fantastic, especially for the kids. The staff were all extremely helpful and very accommodating!

I'm not sure why they bother to remain open this late in the season when there is obviously no business for them. Of course I did not know that when I booked this hotel online several months ago. When we pulled in we thought the hotel was closed, as all the lights were off and there was nobody around. To my surprise when we tried the front door it was unlocked, and someone who spoke no English came over and pointed us to a room. The restaurant was closed, and the nearby town of Finikounda is a good 15-20 minute walk on the road, so we had to take the car.

We were there in mid-October, when the tourist season was practically over, and a lot of the amenities were closed. Our ratings would probably have been more favourable if we had been there in the summer, as this looks like a very nice hotel with a nice pool, right on the beach. Unfortunately when we were there the pool was too cold to use, and the restaurant was closed. I think we were the only guests in the entire hotel, as we did not see anyone else other than the staff.

Reception non existent, no welcome. Sheets and blanket small so that we were very uncomfortable and didn’t sleep. Wanted to leave! Price of bottle wine extortionate. Cold fried eggs for breakfast.

I do not know from where to start on this one! there is no elevator! the receptionist was terrible She did not know nothing, not even if the bedroom was ready for us at 18:00, the fridge on the bedroom was not working! the bathroom was pretty dirty and we did not have hot water! and when I asked to the receptionist for it She said that is because is summer time! also in the bathroom they gave us used rolls of toilet paper! the bed was very hard and in general everything was dirty from the floors to the remote control. Also is very far from the center by walk. Stay away from this place! is very expensive for nothing!

I gave 2 only for the man took me to the bedroom, he was pretty nice and willing to assist
