For most of our stay could not see bottom of pool as too cloudy, was finally clear on our 6th day. It is a two star, but still expected a little more. Shower barely had hot water. Limited items in the kitchenette. Patio door didn't lock, was fixed on second day. Cleanliness was only ok. And towels very rough

The bathrooms are quite small.

The location of Golden Sun is perfect for those who prefer calm places. The staff is outstanding, the pool and the rooms are very clean. The food and drink in the beach bar are high quality.

Shower cubicle would be good as opposed to shower curtain.

Location was good, really close to everything. Pool area was excellent, no fighting for sunbeds. Staff very friendly and the food we had was really good.

I liked everything about my stay, if I had to say anything negative I do feel the property would benefit from some modernisation in the rooms, perfectly fine as it is, but it was a little dated, a refresh/update would only add to the places appeal

The property was in a fantastic location close to everything but tucked away. Pool area lovely and everybody working there really went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Also, to be said, incredibly good value.

We were there in the middle of June and Mosquitos somehow got inside of the apartment even when the mosquito nets were used - I recommend just fully close to doors and windows after 19:30. Kitchen could have been better equipped - there was just 1 bowl and no dish washing liquid was available so we had to buy it ourselves.

Good location 10 minutes walk from the beach, very close to the main street with restaurants and to the supermarket. Food there was also OK. very nice pool and playground for kids.

Nothing, everything met expectations.

The family greetings. Location in resort. Position of the room. All mod con facilities to self cater with working kitchen. Safe and clean with waste pick ups every day They let us check in early with no extra charge. Washing line facilities with pegs on balcony. Quiet at night.

The water supply pressure and the shower attachment to the wall were poor. There were no mops and brushes supplied to keep the room tidy. The balcony was a noisy place to sit at times, perhaps people should be aware that noise travels easily.

The views from the room. The friendliness of the pool bar assistant. The nearness of the beach and restaurants. Sheets were changed twice in seven days and beds made. The apartment was cheap and basic which reminded us of the Greece of old!

The stove tops are proberbly ready to be replaced. I like to cook on holiday and the controls were worn which made it hard to regulate, not a deal breaker.

We got what we paid for, this is a family run apartment with a lovely view from the balcony, Kept clean and bins emptied every day. Any problems were resolved almost immediately. The bed's were comfortable and clean. I loved that every balcony had a washing line with pegs. We would not hesitate to book here again. And fresh lemons from the trees round the pool

Basic accommodation but all you need. Only real downside is that the mattresses were very hard.

What an incredible stay!! The host siblings Chrysoula and George couldn’t have done more for us. They were incredibly attentive to our needs and keen to make our stay as special as possible. Very kind people. Stunning surrounding situated between mountains, a flamingo salt lake and a golden sandy beach. Delicious food - high quality, good sized portions, good value. Great outside. Clean, good sized adult pool. Additional kiddies pool. Good equipment (trampoline, swings, play house) in shaded area for young children. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Ground floor room was very cramped and we didn't used the balcony as we prefer to have privacy. There are lots of feral cats in the location and one was on our balcony wall one morning. Not being cat lovers, we didn't like that, but it was not the fault of the owners. Somehow they manage to keep the poor and bar are cat-free.

The staff we're very nice, friendly and helpful. The location was good as it was handy for most other things in the resort, eg restaurants and the beach. We had 2 nights in a ground floor apartment, which we didn't enjoy, but then 12 nights in a top floor room with privacy and an exceptional view of the sea and the sunset.

Kitchen could have done with some materials for washing up dishes but was able to get these in the supermarket so no big issue!

A fantastic property which was perfect for our holiday. The staff from the beginning were really helpful and friendly and we felt very welcome and well looked after during our stay. The location is perfect. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to supermarket and local bakery. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped and the pool and snack bar was really convenient. Overall a great stay and would definitely return!

Owners are amazing and frendly. The food is amazing at a good price. Pool is warm, the view on mountain is stunning. Very quiet place to relax. No noise at all although your are at 5/6min walk from the main steet. By car, it is only 20mn from Kos Town, 20mn from airport, 20min from Zia, 20 mn from Mastichari(for Kalymnos), 25 min from Kardamena ( for Nisyros) Parasol are very shade ( so you can stay at the pool all the day). In july, you have the sun in the pool until 07h30PM. I appreciate it a lot. Also sunbed are very confortable. The hotel is surrounded by the nature. At any time of the day, you have sunbeds available.
