Internet in the rooms was bad, which was a problem. Also the beach is very small, not really equipped with much.

Loud music on ‘nightclub’ level in the poolside bar which went on till 11:30pm - didn’t want to go out every night and completely ruined any thoughts of relaxing in the room. My earplugs didn’t even work. Not good if you have small children or want a more peaceful holiday. I feel if they’re going to do that it needs to be in an enclosed area. Steep hill to breakfast which even the fittest were struggling with. Though they did provide golf buggies which you could request from your room. The guys operating them were lovely and would stop if they drove by half way up the hill 🥵 Food options at poolside bars could be better, sometimes you just want some chips or a pizza to share by the pool. Poolside waiter service would lift it to 5 star rating.

Beautiful pool areas, extremely friendly and accommodating staff … the Greek people are amazing. Buffet lunch in the main restaurant where they also served breakfast was yum with plenty of choice. Gorgeous views of the sea and hills. 5 minute walk in to town along the sea front, so a good location. On site shop selling clothing items, bags, pool toys etc. also snack items and cold drinks, wine beer etc.

The room was close to the “noisy” swimming pool where they have party nights on Tuesdays until 1 am. If I was pre warned about this would have requested room other side of hotel complex. The rooms are quite basic for a 5 star hotel. No milk for tea and coffee. Wi-Fi was intermittent. Room was not cleaned or made up after first night.

Hotel is in great location with sea views and view of Kardamaina from the main terrace and swimming pool. 8 minutes drive from airport and a 5 minute walk into town. The breakfast was fantastic, everything you could possibly want along with beautiful view.

Hotel is really nice, location is very convenient, 5 min walk from Kardamena. We had renovated family room, which was spacious, with beautiful view. Beds are comfortable. Pools are also nice, with extremely comfortable sun-beds. We enjoyed activities, from darts to water-ball. Breakfast was tasteful, with variety of choice, from typical/continental to Greek breakfast.

The only negative side was the breakfast on a morning as there are not enough tables to cater for everyone and the staff were overworked and a little grumpy!

We loved everything, the climb up to reception was ok for us as a young family but it was a struggle for some older guests. There should maybe be a shuttle golf cart up and down the hill.

Only stayed B&B and was disappointed with food. Very little fresh fruit. Ate only cheese & bread. Definitely not 5 star quality food or drink availability. Also 3rd sofa/bed very small & hard. Suitable only for kids ( although we did ask to get this changed to a roll in single bed which the hotel manager accommodated)

Great room size, comfy beds, good air con, staff lovely & friendly. Multiple pool areas spacious, overall excellent. Would definitely stay again B&B, the local restaurants are too good to miss!!

Worth noting, the taxis were easily booked at reception but they weren't very reliable - two didn't turn up at all, and a couple of the others took 40 minutes to arrive, so don't rely on this for your airport taxi, perhaps book a transfer before you travel.

We only stayed two nights for a last minute booking for a friend's wedding in a nearby hotel, so we didn't use the pools or the bar/restaurant. We did have breakfast both days which was your standard resort buffet but nice, good selection and lovely location. The hotel is all up a hill so not necessarily suitable for all but they bring you a little golf buggy if you call reception to drive you to breakfast or reception when you want. Particular mention for the lovely lady at reception who helped us arrange for a lift to the hotel where our friend was getting married as the taxi she booked for us didn't turn up, nor the second one, so she was ever so helpful and found someone to drive us as we were late! Location was quiet, close to the beach, about a 15-20 min walk to the town along a beach road.

Check in was a bit slow and unsure since the receptionist was new and didn't speak much English, and also asked both at checkin and checkout to pay the tourist tax and i had to show each time that it was already included with Booking.com. However the gentleman at the bar was always super polite and welcoming! But also all the staff was very polite. Breakfast buffet was good, there was a good selection but not the greatest, nothing really stands out. And in a 5 star hotel i expect a coffee made by a bartender and not from a coffee-machine... Steep hill walk to get back to the room, and the golf cart would rarely pass by when needed. Big con was the beach at the front, definitely needs a revamp.

Bad wifi. The beach is poor, but with a few meters walk you access better beach areas. Is not recommend in case of mobility problems. Lots of steps and slopes (but there are golf carts rummaging the area). The breakfast area was stressful if you are not very early or very late. Kardamena itself is very boring from a sight-seeing perspective. But there are many nice restaurants and bars.

Beautiful and well maintained site with nice gardens. Big rooms and balconies with nice views (for the sunrise). The spa, run by the spa manager Paris, comes highly recommended. Two pools on different levels makes the pool area feel varied. I travelled alone and felt very safe at the hotel site.

1. No Greek tv programs on tv only foreign programs. 2. Towels were thin, worn out and not 5 star quality. 3. Bathtub had a plastic curtain for showering not glass. 4. All 3 swimming pools were only 0,60 cm deep not for swimming. 5. The private beach is small, rocky and not nice to swim. 6. Long walk from room for breakfast room, to reception, to pools etc..

Breakfast had a good choice, but not up to 5 star standard.

This hotel requires a lot of uphill and downhill walking. The hotel buildings where the rooms are located are built next to the sea but on a hill and there is parking only at the top and at the bottom. You are not allowed to bring the car anywhere between. Meaning, every single time you want to go out you have to walk uphill and downhill to reach the parking, the pools, the beach, the breakfast building. They have golf carts at your disposal but still you need to call reception every single time (and this is not possible when you are at down parking). It would be great if cars & parking were allowed at least in one of the two roads. In addition, there were only a couple English TV channels just with news & Greek channels were not working. All other channels were in German/Italian. Lastly, very hard to get information about the hotel facilities. There is a TV channel with info but it’s very hard to navigate to get the info you want. You have to wait in front of the screen and go through the whole huge presentation until you get the page/info you need in the right language. You are also asked to download the app - the info is not on a webpage. I suggest that the hotel puts the info in a webpage as well :) Overall basic 5-star.

Quite value for money, big room, big, spacious bathroom, clean, good service, nice staff (in reception and golf carts), super close to a nice beach. Pretty close to Kardamaina and to other great beaches in the south. Good place to stay to discover the island.

There weren't many sunbeds on the beach. The music played during the daytime by the poolside nearest the beach. I'd rather hear the lapping of the waves and natural sides.

We have breakfast and dinner included. Next time we should skip the dinner option. The food isn't bad but just doesn't reach the hotel level. Lack of coffee cups during breakfast. Don't want to know how is during the high season.

The staff was amiable, I Don't have any complaints about accommodation and service. Excellent price/performance ratio. Receptionists and waiters doing a great job.

Loooong wait to get a room if you arrive in the morning. Lots of walking up and down hills in the heat isn't great. Quite a bit of a walk to the centre of town.

Fantastic Views over the sea. Nice swimming pools. Impressive scenery and resort layout. Beer Pong, and the buggy rides! :) Kardamena is a nice town with nice food options.

The bar and the entertainment program in the evening was very disturbing

Overall, you get more than you'd expect for the price. Breakfast: very basic for the five-star hotel Rooms - very basic, but clean View - we had ocean view - terrific Pool - excellent Beach - excellent water, but no much fun to just lie there as the sunbeds are way better at the pool The village nearby- very close by on foot, excellent shopping and dining options
