The apartment was exceptionally clean, modern and very well equipped! The location was perfect, close to shops, tavern's and the beach.Our hosts Maria and Andreos were very welcoming and Maria very kindly made a cake for us!

The accommodation is 2 minutes away from the beach. It’s the perfect location. Very quite. The apartment is big, very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. Maria baked a lemon cake for us, which my kids loved. It was all perfect!

We had a warm and pleasant stay at Gras Houses during our time in Crete. The kids loved it. We feel really lucky that we got to find such a beautiful place. The hosts were amazing and had a lot of kindness. The house was very big, with a nice view in the backyard and a balcony where you can eat your breakfast. The beach is near, 3 minutes by foot. We can only recommend to everyone this place, we are definently in love with it.

The upstair neighbours were a bit loud on our last night.

Maria and Andreas are the best hosts ever. They are really kind and thoughtful. Maria even baked us a cake at the arrival, they gave our son some toys to play with. They are really excellent. The flat is very spacious and well-equipped. It is in 5 min walking distance from the beach but far enough not hear the noise of the restaurants, etc. Shops are also nearby. The beach is quite shallow, so was perfect for our son, who is 1,5 years old.

Shower head needs a riser rail to adjust the height. I pointed this out to Maria who agreed it would be a big improvement and appreciated the feedback. I would imagine that it will be done very soon.

I’m 58 mum is 84 The rooms are all very clean and bright and airy. Big balconies back and front. Maria and Andreas were lovely and very helpful. Kitchen fully fitted with stone tops and very well equipped. I fit kitchens for a living. It’s great. Walking distance to the beach and plenty of restaurants. Very spacious. Easily big enough for couple and 2 kids.

Maria and Anreas are great,. They've organized a taxi with a child seat for us and met us upon our arrival. There was an available feeding table and a bed for kid, also they gave us some toys to play for my kid (almost 3 years). It was very nice of them. The place is excellent, it is just a few minutes from the beach and supermarket is just around the corner, Also there is the small garden place where I could read in shadow while my son was sleeping in a baby carriage. It was a quiet place where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner on the balcony as there is everything is ready to cook food. Restaurants and cafes are also just in a few minutes of walking.

The apartment is in a new building and has everything you would ever need. My wife also noted that everything was spotless. Our hosts made sure we had everything we need for us to enjoy our stay. They have even provided us with a baby crib and changing pillow for our 5 month old baby. Location of the apartment is also great as you have everything you would want within walking distance: beach, taverns and supermarkets.

We had an issue with the person in charge of the parking gate office. The gate should be open by this man each time we enter the house by car. Some young boys gathering up there with the guy and made fun of us, not opening the gate, telling us to go away. All my family felt very offended. I went there again and stood up after dropping my family to talk about this and they still acted like a gang not saying sorry. This was the only issue.

Everything was perfect. The host was very friendly and kind to help us for anything. It is perfect for a family trip.

The hosts are wonderful people and Maria had prepared some great Cretan specialties for us. The place is clean and spacious. It is a very new apartment and looks as advertised. Airco's, kitchen, great sitting terrace, drying rack on the small terrace too. Great beds and loads of storage space for your clothes. Plenty of mirrors too!

Lovely, very comfortable stay. The property is set back from the road, so very quiet at night, and very spacious with three balconies and a large kitchen/living room. There were drying racks for drying swimwear, beach towels provided, and effective aircon in every room. The kitchen was very well-equipped for cooking, with a large dishwasher.

We have no words to express how happy we were with our stay at Gras Houses. Not only was the home exceedingly clean, but the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They are such kind and sincere people and even brought us food on a few occasions! They checked in with us periodically to see if we needed anything and it made an impression on us that they wanted to make sure everything was perfect for us. We sincerely appreciate their hospitality and kindness and will make sure to stay there again.

The owners (Maria and Andreas) are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The apartment is very big with two large balconies (this helps with finding a shaded area during the day). Spotlessly clean on arrival and all mod-cons are available. This was the 4th week of our trip and Gras was the first place we felt really comfortable cooking and eating in. The appliances are top of the range. Air conditioning system is excellent. And the apartment is a 2 minute walk to the town and a small, pretty, shingle beach. We would have no hesitation booking here again (family of 4 with two young children).

We had a lovely time at Gras House! We were greeted by the fantastic hosts Maria and Andreas and we had complimentary homemade Jam, Cake and oil all of which were delicious! Maria and Andreas were available for our every need and made the stay absolutely perfect. The apartment is beautiful, quiet and only a 2 minute walk to the beach and local shop! We chose Gras House as were both working remotely, after a long morning of Work, Maria bought us some more homemade Cretan treats to top off our day! We would 100% recommend anyone to stay here and we look forward to returning as soon as possible! They were really lovely and helped us every way ! Thank you again ! If we could rate 11 we would ! The house is airy and spacious and finished to a very high standard. We visited as a family of four, with two grown up kids, and it was perfect for us. It’s in the centre of Agia Pelagia and within walking distance to the beach, supermarkets and restaurants but very quiet at the same time. We used it as a base to visit Knossos and Heraklion and it worked very well for us. Maria, the owner, was very friendly. We were welcomed with a fantastic home made cake and jam and any requests were answered very promptly. We had a great stay and highly recommend the property.

Superhosts in a greek paradise! Gras houses is located in a small cretean village right at the sea. The lovely beach with turquoise, crystal clear water is just a 3 minute walk away. The apartment is brand new, very spacious (much bigger than the pictures suggest) and super clean and has a huge balcony in the front and a nice terrace in the back (all day a sunny/shady option outside). The place is equipped with anything you might need and if there is anything missing, be assured that Maria and Andreas, the owners of the place, will help you out. Their hospitality is one of a kind! It started with good communication right after booking and a warm welcome when we arrived (including a home made cake). Over the following week, both were always up for a chat and gave us tips and support with any request. Marias culinary surprises, which keept on coming on an almost daily base, made our stay an exceptional experience. The real Greece experience!!!
