I will think about the breakfast forever. Everything was wonderful. Staff was attentive and friendly. Location was so close to the ferry but they still offered transport. The pathway into town was helpful and the view was spectacular.

Perfect location, with easy access to the port and center of town. We appreciated the pick-up service from the ferry and being greeted with coffee and a tasty bite while waiting for our rooms to be ready. The breakfast buffet is bountiful and delicious - one of the best I have ever encountered.

I initially booked a balcony room, thinking that would have a seaview, but it didn't. Thankfully, it was no problem to switch to a sea view room as soon as one became available.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with the genuine warmth of the staff, led by the exceptional Dimitris who not only welcomed us but also graciously ensured our smooth transition to and from the port. The breakfast experience at Hotel Grotta was nothing short of spectacular. An incredible array of homemade pies, desserts, and salads awaited us each morning, leaving us speechless with their exquisite flavors and freshness! The family-run atmosphere curated by Nikoletta and her team made us feel right at home. Their friendly demeanor and eagerness to assist us with local recommendations, whether it was suggesting the best spots to explore or the finest dining establishments to indulge in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met! The hotel's strategic location, just a brief stroll away from Chora, provided us with easy access to Naxos's vibrant atmosphere while offering breathtaking sea views to awaken to each morning. Everything was great

I loved everything about this property The room was big , modern and clean with a big bathroom and powerful shower. The room also had a balcony looking out to the sea. The breakfast was sumptuous with everything you could want including fantastic home made flans and cakes . The staff are outstanding from the manager Dimitri , to the receptionist Connie who was a blast and Costa who organised the breakfast . Free collection from the ferry and free drop off at the airport was brilliant . Couldn't fault this hotel in any way.

"We try to treat our guests like royalty!" This was the answer the manager gave when I complemented the extravagant array of fresh home-made baked goods and fruits and yoghurt available every day for breakfast. It was a wonderful introduction to Greek baking. Every afternoon the guests had a homemade delicious snack waiting in their room. The facilities were superb, and the breakfast/dining room overlooked the Portara and the sea with a postcard view of the sunset. I consider myself most fortunate to have found the Hotel Grotta, and I could not think of a better place to stay in Naxos.

The room was smaller than I would have liked. There was not enough space to really move around comfortably. But we had a deck with a seaside view, so if I felt really crowded, I went out to the balcony and just sat outside there to eat or to drink my wine or to read.

The breakfast is amazing --and they have a delicious Expresso machine that gives you instant lattes anytime of day or night. In the evening you can sit on the deck and admire the view and buy a glass of wine downstairs. It was a lovely time and the people made me feel like I was family. I cannot say enough about this hotel. I read all of the reviews and just knew I wanted to stay here - and it was even better than I could have imagined. The only thing I wished was a slightly bigger room. Our room was small and felt a bit crowded, but it was okay -- I think that it was what was left and I was grateful for a seaside room!

It wasn’t a dislike really, but we never used the spa area because it was a sign up (so it can be a more private experience). Just make sure to sign up when you arrive so you have that experience.

The hotel was such a lovely place for a stay in Naxos. Just stunning views from our room of the sea and Apollo’s Portara. Short 5 minute walk to the center of town. Limited parking available but we had no trouble securing a spot most evenings. The staff were all amazing and friendly, and the breakfast was exceptional. We also found the welcome drink and snacks a lovely touch. The beach towel borrowing was also so amazing as with small luggage we had not brought any, but it allowed us to have a beach day. Was 100% satisfied with our stay and would stay again if we return.

Although the room had a small refrigerator (thank you), you could obtain a drinking glass only by asking for one at the front desk. Beds had only one pillow and two requests for an additional one (a personal preference) were acknowledged but the pillow was never provided.

Incredible views; best breakfast ever; pool, whirlpool, and sauna; very good restaurant; and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff who provided helpful services and made the stay very pleasant.

Hotel Grotta was easily one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Connie, Graciella, and Konstandino were all fantastic, as was the rest of the staff. We will absolutely be back and everyone should spend a night or two here if you're in Naxos. (PS make a trip to the Olive Press they're associated with if you can. It's also wonderful)

The staff were very friendly and accomodated my requests (I changed the room and also enabled me to check out late for a reasonable rate). The breakfast was excellent. Every day I found a slice of pie or cake waiting for me. A nice touch! The location was fine for my needs (walking distance to port and easy access to roads out of CHora). During this stay (April) parking was readily available.

The staff at Hotel Grotta was so warm and welcoming, we felt instantly at home. The rooms were clean and comfortable, lovely! The breakfast was so delicious, like it was prepared by your mom! The views are great and it's walkable to everything in Naxos. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Nicoletta (Who also co owns this place) and Connie were fantastic hosts. Their SPA (heated pool, Steam and Sauna room) were fantastic. Not even a single flaw or negative feedback that we would have. You are definitely treated like a royal from the time you check in. I normally do not put my feedback on any site but the hotel, its people and the service definitely made me write this for them.

This is one of the best places that we've ever stayed! Starting your day enjoying the delicious buffet breakfast with the breathtaking view, and then finishing your day watching the Sunset with the Apollo Temple as a background is truly something else! Nikoletta and the rest of the staff made us truly feel like at home. Her amazing personality and beautiful energy were something that made us feel very welcomed. All the staff were always very helpful, super friendly and the service was beyond great! We highly recommend staying at Hotel Grotta, You will definitely have a great experience staying here while you are exploring this amazing Island. Perfect location with the amazing Port/Seaview, and around 10 minutes walking to the town. Thank you Hotel Grotta for spoiling us and looking after us during our stay. We will definitely be back! The best place to stay in Naxos! The staff are great, they are the highlight of a stay here! The rooms are very comfortable and have stunning views. I have been island hopping in Greece for 5 years and this is my favorite hotel. Breakfast is outstanding!
