Nothing to dislike.

Great location, spotlessly clean, very spacious and lovely view from balcony. Hosts Heleni and Poppy were really attentive, even providing us with food they were cooking for themselves. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Astypalea.

No kettle...think some shelves above sink would be useful. ..is really a petite kitchenette...but workable... only stayed a few nights so ate our.. location tip top..

Very Difficult climb up to the apartment from the port with luggage. I would recommend getting a bus or taxi.

Just an Astypalea thing, A LOT of stairs!!

Great and cozy studios with a balcony and a view. Well equiped and nearby the shops/restaurants. Comfy bed.

The only slight problem was the bathroom being smaller than I expected, there isn’t much space around the toilet but as it was only me it wasn’t much of an issue at all!

I loved the room, the view was spectacular from the balcony, the beds super comfy and great location despite lots of stairs to go up into Chora or stairs down to the port and beach but both within 5 minutes of each other which was perfect for me.

Bit more uphill than imagined based on the description and comments. It made especially diffucult our arrival (by a night ferry, at 1am) with two very heavy luggages. Actually we have asked several times the host beforehand how to go up but she said just follow the GPS. We did it. And Google proposed the wrong (shorter but impossibly steeper) way with hundreds of very steep steps besides a less steep but longer route. Exactly this is the information that we asked and havent received from the host. So choose the longer way from the port.

Very nice big terrace with great panorama, very clean (with daily cleaning), much nicer enterieur and bathroom than on the pictures. More uphill (5 mims) there is the centre of the uptown (windmills) with many restaurants, supermarket etc.

Steps. Everywhere, but makes views amazing. Town on steep hillside. Ensuite a bit small and tight but useable. Wind. Quite strong when I was there. Apparently often windy. Preventing me getting an ATV. Some form of transport needed if you wish to see the island.

Remote island off beaten track! Met from ferry with clear sign. Driven to nearest point, then many steps to studio. Superb view from room and balcony over Pera Gialos port and up to kastro. Bars and tavernas either up steps to windmill area or down steps to port area where there is more including travel and rental agents. Prices on island generally good. Cheaper than many. Departure ferry was late afternoon. Was able to collect luggage after a morning out. Blue Star Ferry currently using old port (better) after problem at Agios Andreas. Host speaks good English and she was very helpful.

Nothing not to like.

After 49 years of coming to Greece and travelling throughout the country, I don't ever remember sleeping in such a comfortable bed... far, far superior to the majority. Great location, stunning views and close to the Square in Chora and mini market... Pera Gialos also very accessible.

The property itself was idyllic, in design, facilities, and aspect. Astypaleia itself involves lots of steps, going up and down from the Chora to the harbour/sea level.

The location looked up to the Chora and down to the Skala/Harbour at the same time.

Was just in Astypalaia for one night, and booked last minute. Everything was ready when o arrived and Eleni was helpful to organise a taxi for me to the airport in the morning.

The room was clean and the owner really sweet and helpful. The view from the balcony(which was spacious) was amazing and the bed really comfy! The location is fine , just 2-3 mins to Astypalea centre and about 5-6 mins to Pera Gyalos beach. I recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to feel a real Greek hospitality and enjoy a great view to the beach. Value for money for sure.

The place is difficult to reach. I had to wait at the port on arrival for a couple of hours.. eventually got hold of a taxi (there are only 2 on the island and sometimes very busy for flights arriving or departing). Could not get hold of the owners.. anyway, nobody’s fault, but could have been anticipated or/and avoided.

The owner was sweet, her mother was also very sweet! the location has a stunning view!! my room had two windows and therefore it had a lovely breeze at night! woke up at dawn and was delighted by the sunrise!!
