We had an amazing stay at the Harmony House, Marili and her mother were very nice. Her mom welcomed us, gave us the keys and some welcoming cakes 🧁, she provided us with so many tips (restaurants, places to check). Marili checked always if we need anything and was always available to answer any question we had. On the last day we met Maria who gave us also a very delicious cake in the morning. I would say all in all the stay was just perfect.

Kissamos is a very nice town, with a lot of places to eat and great supermarkets if you want to cook. It’s the best location to get to Balos and other famous beaches. The hosts are a wonderful family. Marili gave us detailed information about everything we needed to know. Rula and her husband were always there to help us with anything. The place is very cozy, equipped with everything you need, including your own patio and a beautiful garden.

The place was tiny but equipped with everything we needed and even more! The owner Marili was very friendly and helpful, she gave us a lot of advise on where to go, what to see around, and some useful info on transportation. The mother of the owner was super sweet and treated us with delicious home-made traditional cake and pastries - we loved it, thank you! <3 The apartment had a lot of useful things and included some food and drinks we didn't even expect :) The place is really nice and in a peaceful area. A bit far to the local beach, but if you have a car and go fo further atractions it's probably more comfortable. A supermarket and a bus stop are located a few steps away from the apartment. We recommend this place if you are looking for something peaceful and cosy :) Thanks!

Nothing - this is our favorite place in Kissamos.

There are not enough words to express how satisfying our stay was in Harmony House. The owners are great and treated us as their own family members. When we arrived a home made sweet treats, refreshments and raki were waiting for us. During our stay Marili and Rula were always helpful with information, and checking if we feel alright, or might need anything. We even got fresh home made kalitsuna's with honey as compliment - this was so nice!!! The house is equipped with everything you might need, and even more. There is convenient shaded garage for the car, beautiful garden and very pleasant veranda to relax.

Everything was perfect, no complaints 😊

When I booked the house there weren't many reviews and I was a bit apprehensive, but when we arrived it exceeded my expectations. Maria and her family were extremely nice. She gave us a recommendations for places and restaurants.The house is very nice, clean and well maintained, close to the center. Kissamos is a small and pleasant town. If I travel to Crete, I would definitely book this house again. I recommend.

This is a lovely traditional family house given a modern twist. It was very clean and presentable and we made a lot of use of the outdoor eating space and barbecue, which overlooks the pretty garden. The location is on a quiet road but with very easy and quick access to the old town and the sea front. Our friendly hosts were absolutely wonderful: so welcoming and hospitable and kind, and went out of their way to help us. We would highly recommend staying here if you visit Kissamos, and it was the best property we stayed at during our visit to Crete.

The householders are a family living just in front of the apartment, that will give you any kind of support you might need in your holiday. The apartment, which is the family'sformer house, is perfectly kept, surrounded by a garden from which you can take fresh vegetables when you need, and mother Roula will welcome you with fresh homemade sweets making you feel like at home. Marili also gives detailed information about the spots, and the best tavernas you can find in the region. The apartment is provided with all you need to live, such as kitchen and bathroom poweritems. The town of Kissamos (Kasteli) is also well placed to reach all the most famous beaches to visit. Wish we can go back there again soon!

The house is great, renovated with attention to every particular detail and offering exceptional amenities to make the stay of their guests unforgettable. Good location, 5 minutes walk from supermarkets and cafes and 5 minutes by car to a very nice beach in Kissamos. Strategic place to visit the most beautiful beaches on the island - Elafonisi, Falasarna and Balos (by boat from the port of Kissamos). And the most important - the people, these are people with golden hearts - Marili, her parents and Maria, who welcomed us as part of their family. I have no words to describe these hospitable people. Although breakfast was not included, we were provided with plenty of local products, vegetables from their garden, an amazing cake made by Maria, welcome brandy (raki), tea, coffee. Marili gave us extremely detailed instructions for cafes, taverns, and beaches around and came with us to take a tour and to show us everything around. She was all the time available on the phone and we had very good communication with her in English. Marili's parents live just across the street. Rula (Marili's mother) prepared us a traditional pie, every day offered us organic products for us and the baby, Georgi (Marili's father) came with us to the fish market just to be sure that they would give us fresh fish. On the day of our departure they allowed us to leave later because the baby was sleeping in the afternoon and provided us with gifts and a lot of love. We will always remember our stay in their place. It was really difficult for us to leave. As we promised, we hope to see them very soon, to return or to welcome them as our guests.

The apartments is very nice. They was clean and very comfortable. The plaice is quiet and full of flowers with wonderful smell. The shower was amazing. WiFi speed is great. The host is great person's. Very kind and helpful. If you are planning to stay in Kissamos I would strongly recommend to choose this apartments.

Everything was amazing!Harmony house Hosts are the best-very kind and friendly! They make us very tasty Cretan traditional biscuits! We love this place a lot -hospitality and kindness. I recommend Harmony house !!! If I can give more than 10 I will do that! ❤️

There is no cleaning service provided daily, but probably because of covid-19. However, the house had everything you needed to clean by yourself and change extra linen and towels. Everything was great!

The house was fully equipped! It had more equipment than we have at our place (!) and a beautiful garden with a balcony! We enjoyed having breakfast every morning at the garden, overlooking the beautiful flowers! The owners were so polite and warm that they offered us a fresh cake, fruits and local desserts and secured a parking place for us outside the house at night! Marili (one of the owners) is an amazing person, she texted us almost daily to make sure we had a good time and give us tips for beaches and restaurants! The location is amazing! The house is situated close to the most beautiful beaches in Chania (20-50') and very close to great restaurants. We couldn't have picked a better house and location!

The Studio room is small, suitable for one person only.

The host Marili and her parents are.. awesome! I stayed for a week and it was great! I would recommend to everyone who needs a comfortable clean and air conditioned home with its own kitchen, while experiencing the Greek local love and culture. Its not a beachfront property, but the beach and excellent cafes are a 5-7mins walk away. From check-in to check-out, they were friendly, helpful and simply so loving! I was surprised at check-in with a homemade cake (Maria makes the best cake!) Marili made recommendations on where to go, how to go, best places to eat, things to do. Her assistance in finding snorkeling / covid testing centre / anything I could not find due to any language issue - was above and beyond the normal service level I would expect. In conversation I said I was a vegetarian, and Marili's mother surprised me with home-cooked beans. It was not at all the formal aloof experience of living in a hotel-with-a-keypad-lock, but a wonderful local experience with the comforts of a hotel room. The room itself is small (I am a solo traveller, so booked the studio) but has excellent furnishings, good wifi, so many cookware and washing machine.

Nothing, it was more than perfect!

To start with the premises, the „Harmony House“ is a tastefully furnished and throughly equipped townhouse with garden in the heart of Kissamos - i.e. close to all amenities and leisure spots (restaurants, beaches…) as well as roads or ferry lines to main „must see“ locations like Elafonissi, Falassarna or Balos lagon! Now, the big plus for staying at the „Harmony House“: the tenants Maria & Marili and the latter‘s lovely parents living just across the street make you love not only Kissamos and West Crete - thanks to proactive and at request (always excellent) advice for visits - but also really feel at home and, thus, have an incredible experience of the Cretan way of life! Just try it, you will not regret…
