Having the ability to open my door by clicking a button on my phone was very strange. I got used to it of course, but it took a day or so. Also, watch out for the doorknob. I pinched my hand between the door jamb and the knob, because the tolerances are too tight. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep an eye on.

It's a straightforward hotel, with smart controls via phone app. Breakfast was pretty good. The proximity to food and the top tourist spots was really nice too!

The app didn’t make the connection so well to have the lights, airco and blinds operating, but you can also use the regular switches in your room. The shower drain was not running and therefor the shower was flooding. We had to remove the steel drain-cover each day and that solved it. This seems more a shower floor construction issue than a cleaning issue.

The location is close to everything! Metro 3M from the airport to Monastiraki square is so convenient. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable with the huge rain-shower. The breakfast buffet is extremely good. They even have different local delicacies each morning plus à la carte menu options for your egg ordering.

We couldn’t figure out a way to turn off the exterior patio lights. They distracted from the Acropolis view after sunset. I’m sure they are a safety feature but would have loved to be able to turn them off when going to bed.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was great to be cebtrally located to many things in the city. Having a view of the Acropolis from bed was also amazing. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was incredible too. Would definitely recommend.

We had two rooms booked. Rooms 309 & 310 were allocated to us but were not of the same size. One of them was very small and bathroom had no door. Those staying in the small room were not so happy.

Location of hotel - Excellent - In less than a minute you will be in the main square where lot of vibe takes place. Breakfast was very good and healthy Rooms very modern and very beautiful bathroom.

The street light ( maybe from hotel front) shines through till 1.30am, it is as if there is still a light turned on. The blinds don’t stop the light they should be wound the other way there is a very big gap between window and blind

We were not able to get the television to work at all, and it would not pair with our mobile phones (though we were able to see that many other guests had paired their mobiles). It was not important enough for us to ask for help, which I am sure we would have received had we asked).

The service was absolutely fabulous - everyone on staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We were even able to store our bags early in the day so that we could explore Athens unencumbered. We received excellent advice regarding where we could enjoy lunch with the locals!

They have a high-tech panel to control the lights that I could not figure out how to use, even after watching a YouTube video about it! It was a little too fancy for me.

The room was rather on the small side and the windows were facing a wall, but honestly for our short stay neither of these was a problem.

We found the concept of a "smart" hotel interesting and fun. The app had some bugs here and there, but nothing particularly inconvenient. We enjoyed playing with all the features. Otherwise, the room was very clean, the beds were very comfy, the staff was friendly, nothing that we would not expect from a 5-star. The breakfast was very well stocked, with many local products, great bread and pastries and delicious desserts (that looked pretty much home made). The location can't really get more central than this, close to the subway and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and monuments.

The Hellenic Vibes Smart Hotel was out of our expectations in the positive sense! The location, close to Monastiraki square, is perfect and although the Hotel is located in a mainly pedestrian area, you can get there with any taxi and even has a drop off zone for your luggage. Staff was kind and very nice, breakfast was plenty and the room is modern and full of comforts and tech. we really, really enjoyed our stay in Athens thanks to Hellenic Vibes !

We had some problems with the air con, told it was a software issue which meant we had to call reception to alter the temperature and it got warm in the afternoon, unfortunately the issue persisted for the 2 nights of our stay.
