How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

You don't have reception or somebody to address if you need anything at all. Example: payment was done to the cleaning stuff (not complaining about that), second day when we asked for wifi pass - the other cleaning stuff did not speak english so... i asked the wifi pass via booking communication. Not really worth it because the wifi is 0 usefull :( dont even try to get anything on the net...
Good location with free parking. Near to the beach 2-3 minutes by walk.

The WIFI signal is terrible. If you are of real need of internet, find another way before going to the apartment, because there you will not catch any signal. The owner knows this but for the time being there is no solution for the problem. There are many open balconies, because there is another house glued to this one and can get a little noisy at time.
The owner was very friendly and available at all time. The house has a very specious private parking which is very helpful because the streets are very narrow. The room was very clean when we came and the kitchen had all the necessary electric devices to make a meal. The beach is only 100 meters from the apartment.

No disadvantages really. The Internet connection was indeed weak however overall in Kalamitsi the reception was not very good, therefore not an issue of this hotel in particular.
Great stay! Comfy bed, spacious room with a balcony, you have all the amenities you need. The staff was very friendly, they cleaned the room regularly, exceptional service! Lovely hotel with a nice garden with barbecue, very calm surroundings. The property was very close to the beach and all the restaurants. I recommend and would gladly stay there again!

A very clean and cozy room at a good price. The balcony with view to the sea is a great extra. The host was very friendly and allowed us late check-out. The beach is just few minutes away and is one of the best beaches in Sithonia in my mind. Quiet area, a great place to relax and enjoy life. Strongly recommended!

No sound proof, difficult to sleep as you can hear all from other rooms and cars, specially garbage truck. Shower curtain is needed to keep water splash.
Parking, near the see, great value for money, proactive host. Sun umbrella/tent in the balcony will be great, in the morning hours is needed.

It is a lovely, quiet and very clean place. The room was spacious, the terrace had a sunrise view and the kitchen was well equipped with everything need for a family with kids. There is a backyard behind the hotel where families could have a meal together, with excellent grass for outdoor games.

No shower curtain and small shower, meant water went all over bathroom floor. Water was a murky colour.
Located one minute walk from beach, big and clean room with nice balcony. Friendly welcome, overall excellent value for money.

A bit confusion about check-in procedure, no real reception, and we came in the "siesta" and were given a room with a water break in the bathroom but luckily immediately moved to another room

The bathroom was very small and not so clean,there was sand and the canal is not working properly
