Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

North MacedoniaThe position of the AC is a bit challenging during the night
Clean apartment, quiet area (the only noise is coming from the church nearby), close to everything. The kitchen is well equiped and has everything that you need for a short stay. Overall, it was a nice experience. No available parking in front of the apartments, however, there is a big parking close by that seemed to be safe.

RomaniaThe room had ventilation for the kitchenette and bathroom in an interior hallway. Every noise from the hall could be heard. Internet non-existent inside the room, the signal was weak and only at the entrance and on the terrace.
The location is a few steps from the beach and very close to the most frequented restaurants in Sarti and also very close to the old town. Being in the old center, nearby parking spaces are hard to find. The room is updated and the beds and pillows are comfortable. There are many power sockets (very useful). The studio is a bit small but offers all the necessary comfort. Very good value for the money!

RomaniaI think you should change the bathroom door with something that you can actualy close 😂. To have more privacy.
Very clean and good located (1 min to the beach). Exactly as presented. We will definitely come back. They had everything we needed. They cleaned one time in 6 days but for us was enough.

PolandUnfortunately, there was no wifi in the room we stayed in, so we had to go out into the corridor to use it. There is no curfew in the property, so be aware that Sarti comes alive after 9pm and there are plenty of people outside. The noise is not only on the street, but also in the vicinity of the facility and the corridors themselves. A lot of visiting Romanians, for whom paying attention to peace borders on a miracle.
Comfortable bed, terrace with chairs and a table, view of the beach

BulgariaBathroom design is super weird. Zero privacy. Also, top floor is concrete and accumulates heat. AC needs hours to even cool a bit; however as soon as you take the key out AC stops.
Clean, new, tidy. Close to main street and beaches.

RomaniaNot so good points (from our perspective): - like everyone mentions, it is also very close to a church that rings the bells at: 7AM, 7.15AM, 7.30AM each day and if it's a holiday, they never seem to stop. So if you are not a morning person and you want to sleep with the door open to get fresh air, it's not a good idea. - we had 3 rooms booked and 1 of them (not sure how and why only 1) had some ants in it and also on the beds and all our stuff + the same room had a smell coming from the shower drain (we also had the room right next to this one and no issue there), but nothing disturbing. - also, like mentioned in other reviews, sometimes the toilet paper they leave you is not enough for the 3 days, but we purchased some from the market and was not an issue. - in all Sarti there's basically the rule: park where you can find space, during the weekend we had to spend like 30min to find a parking place (this review is not for the top season, first week of June), ended up parking in the playground area (so not close to the house). - the same thing that I assume applies for most of the other buildings: they are very close to one another, so your luck depends on your neighbors (if you get a chatty group that stays up to 1AM or not).
This place was exactly what we were expecting from viewing the online photos. The triple rooms are perfect for families with one or even 2 children (smaller one) and they are like 20steps from the beach. They come equipped with a small kitchen that has everything needed: 3 large plates, 3 small plates, 3 forked, 3 spoons, etc, a bigger and smaller pot, am electric kettle, independent working fridge and an electric stove. We were informed since arriving that the cleaning and changing of the bedsheets and towels was done every 3 days. Good points: - was impressed with the cleaning ladies, I once left something in the kitchen from that morning thinking I would wash it in the afternoon when returning from the beach and found it washed. - was impressed they have us dish detergent and a new, sealed dish sponge (I really dislike using someone else's sponge). - we received also an anti-mosquito device to plug in (although we did came prepared). - it is extremely well positiones if you don't want to use your car daily: there's tons of taverns to chose from, supermarkets, 20m from the beach and also very close to a nice view-point area were you can enjoy your morning coffee on a bench, viewing all Sarti Beach and sea. - the host is somewhere nearby so if there is any issue he will come in few minutes (and is also very responsive on WhatsApp)

BulgariaThe rooms are actually smaller than they look on the pictures. The wardrobe is really small so two people with a large suitcase with stuff for like 10 days can hardly fit in. One thing not really a fault of the owners is the location of the local church - just like 50 meters away. They will wake you up every morning at 7:00 by loudly ringing church bells, especially on Sunday, when you will also hear the priest singing.
The rooms are clean, bathroom is big enough. The location is superb - just a couple of minutes walk from everything. The balcony is big, so you can have a morning coffee or afternoon beer there. The owners are really friendly and always available if you have any questions.
