The check in process. First, they mixed up my name and couldn’t find my reservation. 30-minutes later, they finally sorted out the mix up. I had originally booked my stay via Booking.com then wanted to extend the stay by two nights. I contacted the property directly (as recommended by Booking.com) and was told that would not be a problem. Well, my extension request was not updated so the reception was not able to locate this extension. I was told that it wouldn’t be a problem to extend, however the price quoted to me prior to arrival was significantly less than what I was being quoted during check in. We decided to maintain our original dates and not extend. I highly recommend you request confirmation for any changes to your reservation, regardless of how minor you think it may be. The front desk team is very nice, and we learned that their is a rock star, A team and their is an average B team. A lot of frustration can be avoided by just having all your ducks in a row when checking in. As I mentioned, we had the all-inclusive package. We were pleased with our choice, but I wish the main pool bar actually had a bar that served cocktails and beer.

The location was amazing! There are multiple pools on property. Easy beach access that offers a nice lagoon to float around in. The restaurant staff was amazing; everyone took great pride in their work. The Greek restaurant (Zorbas Tavern) was amazing. Irini and the staff their went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The food was delectable! We had the all-inclusive package and we’re very pleased with the food and drink choices. We have older kids and don’t need childcare, but the hotel’s childcare programs and activities seemed to be very organized and the staff paid close attention to the children. All kids and parents seemed to be very pleased. I would highly recommend this hotel to a family wanting to come relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.

THIS HOTEL EXCEEDS ITS 4 STAR STATUS IN MANY WAYS AND IS VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. BATHROOMS WOULD BENEFIT FROM AN UPGRADE BUT FABULOUS STAFF AND LOCATION MORE THAN MAKE UP FOR THAT.

Food sensational, worthy of gourmet star status, varied and to suit all tastes and diets. Hygiene top notch.Staff incredibly friendly, professional, helpful and willing to go the extra mile.Beautiful idyllic, peaceful location, west facing with stunning sunsets. and extensive manicured gardens.Man made coves for sea swimming, although not scenic are safe, clean and water is beautifully warm. Sea water pools warm and clean. Enthusiastic entertainment staff provide pool activities daily and nightly they perform free of charge engaging shows in the outdoor theatre.

Stunning location - but incorrect room information
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Family Bungalow with Sea View (2 Adults + 2 Children)
    • Stayed 11 nights

Room information at booking is incorrect, we ordered a sea view bungalow room for two adults and two kids- with two extra sofas for kids 6 and 3 and got a room with a bunk bed- which does not work for our little ones. I am sure for some families it is better - these bunk bed is in a separate room with a door and so kids and adults have their own bedrooms but with little kids bunk bed does not work - it is very high. Room with 2 sofas is also not ideal - we talk about two single bed sofas that actually are not even sofas rather single beds - one is in the main room with adults and another is in a separate room BUT the entrance to the bathroom is from that room, not separate like in a bunkbed room where two room are separate and a bathroom is in between. In the the bunkbed bedroom room for kids is quite spacious, in the “sofa bedroom”, kids bedroom has a wardrobe but if you want to put a crib in there - there is no space. Space outside - really depends on your luck - you can have a huge terrace or a tiny one just next to the pathway so you barely fit- no mentioning of that on the website. Sea view also differs - make sure to ask for the first row rooms - just stunning view - other have a “sight of the sea” or a “glimpse”. We have asked for a different room and we got it - however we noticed that Many pools ask for exchange of the room - however it is always going through a general manager. What My personal advise would be to the hotel - set the expectations right by proposing different rooms and giving people the choice of bunk beds /sofas and maybe with the room plan - people will choose what they prefer and will have the right expectation and no need to stress first few days. Main pool has loud music during the day - if you want to relax - ask for a room away from the main pool.

Overall - we will come back. We loved the setting- plenty of place to walk, swim, enjoy - no need to leave the hotel. Two bays are just stunning! Rooms - a bit on a rundown side but we have seen worse in Belgium, UK, Switzerland, Italy. Don’t expect Dubai here. Plenty of storage in the room. Good size double bed with a good matras. Airco is silent and works well, hangs away from the bed so you don’t get wind in your ear at night. Nice terrace to sit outside - down side - only two chairs for 4 people. Very friendly personnel for cleaning - take your schedule into the account and provide Very fast but good cleaning service of the rooms Restaurants- Ok food - long opening hours for all meals, clean restaurants that have appealing presentation of dishes that are refilled throughout the service. Very friendly people Tables are prepared and cleaned fast and dirty plates are collected immediately. Orders for drinks were timely as well. Enough space for everyone. You can sit inside or outside We had a full board - there was enough variety. In two weeks we did twice a BBQ - dinner in a different scenic location within the hotel with a stunning view and nice fish/meat from the grill with nice selection of wine. Outside space Enough place for all to find a spot outside on the sun beds - however pool areas are usually fully booked. There are places in the shade on the grass. Two hotel territories - Panorama and Marina are connected so you can have looong a scenic walks. Beautifully landscaped territory - just a pleasure Beaches are small, Sandy with some stones. Bays are protected from the main sea so even in the stormy weather it is safe to swim.

It's a pity many guests "reserve" sunbeds with towels. Many people are away for hours while the ones that really want to be by the pool have no place to stay. Not the hotel's fault tho, but maybe it would be a good idea to have a sign saying that reserving sunbeds is not allowed.

Very good hotel with a beautiful sea view! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Regarding the food, we specially enjoyed dinner at the bbq restaurant.

You are not supposed to reserve pool chairs, but everyone does. No cabanas available for rent also makes it challenging to find a nice spot to relax for the day. Elevator doors (inside) were not cleaned all week, but this is the only area for Improvement in the cleanliness I could note.

You can do a lot right on site…tours, water sports, activities, etc. Even rent a car for a day on the property. The front desk staff is very helpful and accommodating. We had several requests and they managed them all very well!

Everything about this hotel is complicated. We were on the All Inclusive regime and even then we could only take 1 bottle of water to the room. Of the 4 days we stayed, 2 rained the whole day. There's nothing to do in this hotel when it's raining. children to adults completely bored. It does not have 1 heated pool. A hotel of this size without any heated pools. The outside pools are impossible to enter. Cold nonsense. The opening hours of the restaurants were not respected. We were at All Inclusive and at various times we didn't have anything we could eat. We had to stay at the bar asking for drinks snacks. The hotel is far from everything so we went to enjoy the structure that in the case of rain we didn't have.

Good and comfortable structure. Good reception on the arrival time.

If dinner is included in price then consider that they charge you for cheap box wine and fresh juice. In middle of dinner they run to you with check. For a sake please let me finish my meal or add some signs what is included and what is extra. Oh no i dont know if this shrimp is included or the lady with checkbook hunts me down again. Pools are closed so early because lifeguard duty ends - most time he was watching movies from phone, then got bored and left for over a hour. There was clear sings that no jumping in kids pool but nobody cared about it and lifeguard was also sleepy. There was sings everywhere that reservations for sunbeds are prohibited but nobody seems to care about it. 7.30 am there was towels in every sunbed and hotel staff did not seem to care about it. The room - wow it was banger. Toilet door all most fell of the hinges, all the rooms was very worn. I have been better 3-star hotels in India - i think that tells it all.

Breakfest was fine. Location and scenery was beautiful. Hotel staff was friendly.

General condition of room was very poor. Decor was dated and looked a bit tired. Apparently 70% of Iberostar properties have been refurbished recently, but clearly not this one. Very few plug sockets - none with USB socket. In room safe too small to take a laptop and at an extra charge of 3 Euro per day. Mattress was foam which I was very surprised to find. A "topper" was added but was only a small improvement to a very poor bed. T.V had very limited channels, predominately current affairs and very limited in English. Wi-Fi so poor that at times was not useable. Air con effective but old unit which was not quiet enough. Nothing supplied in mini bar, not even water. (We were "All Inclusive"). Toilet seat in bathroom broken. Main restaurant food was poor. Hot buffet not hot enough and no warmed plates. Soft drinks were all full sugar other than "Pepsi Max". House wine was not at all pleasant. Egg station was very poor; all eggs cooked "over easy", request for "sunny side up" declined. Omelette made from weak mixture, no pre-cooking of ;ham, peppers, onions, before adding to the griddle. Advised at check in all other A la Care restaurants fully booked. Intervention from General Manager needed in order to obtain a place. (Food here was much better but, hot food served on stone cold plates.) Sunbeds at main pool all reserved by same guests with towels despite clear instruction not to do so.

Stunningly beautiful gardens. Majority of staff were welcoming and kind. General manager was very accessible and made genuine effort to resolve issues.

Lied about our 'Bungalows' that were just actual normal bedrooms in a 10 room building. Area of the building was dirty with bird droppings on the floor. They woke us up in the early morning every day. Management that does not care one bit about their guests promising solution that never come. Food was mostly bland and the plates were a lot of times dirty at the main restaurant.

Some staff members were very nice and welcoming. The grill restaurant on our third night was nice overall. The small bays were one of the highlights to swim in with a very nice view. The garden was well kept.

The food is very poor quality! There are many options at the buffet, but all are either canned or made in bulk several hours before and very mushy! The staff is constantly eyeing you to see what you are eating and asking you what plan you were on. Very commercial and poor service. The check in managers do not give any information and there are many surprise charges added as you stay! Ask questions before you eat or do anything!

The staff from reception was just plain out rude. I ask to be relocated but without succes. The say they will contact me, never did. Raised the same issue at reception several times but was ignored. Agreed to pay extra only to change room but again nothing. they were more focused on the fact that they made an upgrade from garden to sea view but did not consider the fact that the room 3108 was at the far end of the complex and it was a challange to get to the beach with a 1 year old.

It is the fourth time we came to Iberostar. But this time was very disappointing. First the mattress in our room was bad. Only after our second night they changed it. Then we arrive after a day out at the beach at 16:00 and our room is not serviced. The food is also not the same standard than it used to be. Variety is less than before. We will not go back
