You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very pleasant and clean swimming pool. Taverna inside the hotel very good. Parking available (very few spots however). Very welcoming and helpful staff.

LatviaThe beds are quite hard, which may be a problem for some. The air in the rooms gets stuffy when they are closed up, so you need to air them out after arrival.
Charming, clean, wonderful surroundings, beautiful gardens. Every interaction is personal and lovely. We arrived late and it was a windy day, when the sea was not suitable for swimming. Maria invited us to use the pool even though it was already post pool hours, and delayed the pool treatment so we could have a swim after our arrival. The rooms are very clean. We were in the half-basement, which was not as nice as top floors, but even these rooms were nice enough, looking out into the gardens.

United KingdomWe live in the UK but my husband is from Crete and we visit every summer. We have stayed at Ideal for the last four years. We’ve previously stayed in more expensive hotels but actually prefer it at Ideal. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the cleaners are friendly and change the bed linen every two days and clean regularly. The hotel has an excellent taverna attached serving traditional Greek food, and stone baked pizzas and more. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, the beach, a pharmacy and a doctors surgery. Also a short walk from more sea front cars and restaurants in Gournes. Highly recommend!
