We were bitten by mosquitos on the last 2 nights of our stay, but this was probably due to change in weather. Not a problem for us but the beach and village are accessed via a steep hill and/ or steps if you do not have transport or maybe difficult for anyone with mobility difficulties.

Breakfasts were large and varied each day, location was central, close to beach, restraunts and shops. Balcony was big enough to sit out on and had a restricted sea view. Room was cleaned daily and hosts were friendly and helpful. There was a fridge in the room and facilities available to make hot drinks and snacks if you wanted. We did not have a car but parking was possible outside of hotel and the bus stop was just a few metres away.

The breakfast was consistently superb, with generous and varied excellent home cooking. The shower and toilet were clean and well designed. The rooms were serviced daily to a very high standard. The location made life easy including enjoyable strolls to the lovely fishing port and small but delightful town. We were able to park directly outside the hotel or nearby. The hotel was pretty, including a delightful sunny garden where, amongst the fruit trees, breakfast was served. The interior was well decorated, homely and loved. A small, supermarket, very close by, was where I bought our lunch snack. The hotel's atmosphere quiet, respectful, gracious, civilised;- worthy of a highly starred hotel.

On our tour of Crete (Almyrida 4 nights, Cora Sfakion 3 nights, Agia Galini 3 nights, Archanes 3 nights) we felt very comfortable in the Hotel Idi. Breakfast and cleanliness must be emphasized.

It was on top of the hill that led to the beach. Very steep walk up and down every day twice a day.

Breakfast was good, jasmine the manager was very nice and helpful, she let us check in hours early. Very nice place and well run.

They had a good photographer taking pictures for the booking site, but this place for sure looks good for real too. We had a room with a wonderful and lovely view over both the mountains and the sea. The family who owns this hotel were really nice and made superb breakfast for us every morning. There was also a small common kitchenette where you could borrow some tools if you like.

Beautiful very clean room, excellent staff and lovely breakfast. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating, very professional and they made us feel like home! Also hard to find a quadruple family room! A quiet family hotel, 5 mins walk to the beach, excellent breakfast, very clean room, airport transfers can be arranged by the owners. I truly cannot fault this and we’ll definitely return.

Nothing to really say, going back to the hotel from the beach or the city can be very strenous, specially when it's very warm outside, since you have to climb a very steep hill, this is just the geography of the place and not the hotels fault. Besides that minor thing, everything was great

The breakfast was amazing, we also learned that most of the products used for the breakfast are grown at their farm. The staff was extremely friendly and they went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and provide help. The location was very quiet, our room had an amazing view, the garden is a great place seat and relax

Giorgos and his mum’s warm welcome, advice on beaches and where to eat, the outstanding authentic homemade Greek breakfast, the gorgeous garden and blossoming flowers everywhere, the clean rooms and views from our balcony over the garden and the sea - just perfect!

Location of the hotel and village itself is cool. Small, but good for tourists. Hotel 5 min from the nice beach and 5 min from all cafes and next door is the supermarket. The staff is very friendly, different cool breakfast is cooked every day. It tends to be sweet (hostess is baking herself), but when I ask, they were ok to bring me cheese or smth not so sweet. There is a small kitchen for the guests to cook, that is very nice Their have their own farm with animals and have shown it to us:)) We have the room with Streetview, but it was Ok and not loud outside.
